What do we need to do to see ourselves in an entirely new way?! How about deciding what we would like to accomplish; then, pursuing our goal until it is positively achieved. Truly these are appropriate steps in any successful goals process. Regardless if the goal includes issues related to health, weight, finances or relationships, our attitude can greatly influence how we relate to the goals process.
So often we are so conce ed on focusing on what we don’t have that we forget to be grateful for all that we do have. Remember to be grateful for having a roof over your head that keeps you warm and cozy. Be thankful for the clothing and food that is available. Appreciate those that have helped you on your jou ey. Share your time, talents, and gratitude generously. Always say thank you for each day as everyday is a new beginning. At the end of the day, look back and take credit for all you’ve accomplished. Acknowledge your successes.

Money, Happiness, Success, does not come from watching and reading the news. The news is not your friend. In this article you will see what the news is doing to you. News is making you do something. Yes it is. Are you watching the news or reading the newspapers about all this money stuff? Do you believe what those people are telling you? If you do, the news is making you do something.
We people are amazing aren’t we? We get mad at anyone who dares even think they are going to tell us what to do. The last thing we would ever consider is living in some country where we couldn’t do what we want to do. Yet, we let our mind tell us what to do. Why is it we let our mind run us? We think we are so smart. We are independent, that’s what we would like to think. Yet, why do we let our mind run us all day, everyday?
The issue of facing challenges is a very interesting point. Take a moment and check in with yourself and see “How do you face challenges?” Notice if any of these suggestions rang true with you: * Avoid dealing with person or situation that feels challenged * Complain about challenges * Try to figure out what to do or not do about current challenges that you are experiencing * Use methods similar to parents, family members, friends or colleagues * Become agitated because of challenges that sometimes seem endless
I have a headache. Let me see now. Please allow me a couple of wild guesses. You’ve been upset by the stock market. Up 500, down 500. That’s enough to give anyone a headache if they’re thinking about it all the time. Here’s another guess, you’re upset, maybe angry about the mortgage crisis, the giant companies going out of business, the government response, your 401K, your decision to get into the market or your decision to get out of the market. It’s very confusing, isn’t it? Everyone seems to have a different opinion.
The details related to our childhood, and things that we’ve experienced in the past, are still very much running in our subconscious minds. Our childhood memories are affecting how we are living our lives today. As children, we may have fallen out of the bed or down a flight of stairs. Or perhaps we fell off our bicycle or fell off the jungle-gym. For most of us, skinned knees and bruised elbows were things we managed to get through. The physical wound quickly healed although our judgments related to these past incidents remain long after these occurrences took place.
What you need to know is this. It doesn’t matter what’s going on out there in the economy, at the Fed, or at the bank. It doesn’t matter what’s happening. What matters is your attitude toward what’s happening. If you’re scared, the economy has you on a downhill slide. Remember, it isn’t about the money news. Your attitude toward the money news is what counts. People could say, OK, what am I supposed to do? You want me to be happy about it? Well, YES, be happy. Remember the song? Don’t worry be happy.
Who said you have to be run by your feelings? Who said you have to feel bad, sad, mad, scared, etc.? Who said you have to be scared by the news about money. Who said you have to feel bad about anything? Do you know it’s your choice? You think you are your feelings. You think those negative states that overcome you are you. Let me tell you. They are not. And, you don’t have to believe what I’m saying you can check it out for yourself.r
When life hands out lemons, why not make lemonade! This approach is deciding to view all situations and circumstances as an opportunity of seeing everything in a good way. The more we practice viewing things positively will help us to shift our attitude away from ‘I can’t…’ towards “I can!”
Bad moods happen when you don’t like something or someone. You don’t like it. That’s negative and the negative energy is in you. Your mind goes to work adding up all the reasons why you shouldn’t like it. Each new reason is another not liking. Each not liking adds up and the bad mood gets worse, and gloomier, and bluer. Lint collects lint and negative feelings collect more negative feelings.

“It won’t work!” “It can’t work!” “No way, no how!” So basically what we are really holding in mind, is, “What’s the worst that can happen?” Clearly this is not how an article should begin if it is titled "Only the Best." And yet, this is what most of us are doing, most of the time.
If you’re expecting good things most of the time, please stop right in this moment and give yourself a pat on the back! Bravo to you! Realistically we should all be expecting good things at all times. Truth appears that most times, most folks tend to expect somewhat unfortunate outcomes. Think about this for a moment… Perhaps you have used phrases such as, “Too expensive… too good to be true… I can’t… I don’t know how… and the list goes on and on. Without realizing, these limiting statements are actually projecting what we are holding in mind.
In truth, many of us still believe that happiness is a secret. First of all, opposite of what most people believe, happiness is available to everyone–at all times. No one is excluded. Every person, regardless of their age, nationality, level of education or success, is naturally capable of being happy.
Perhaps you’ll agree that when something is bothering you, it prevents you from being at peace. In truth, the more we try to figure out “what-to-do” or “what-not-to-do” actually keeps the situation from changing. Take a moment and look at this consideration more carefully. Whatever we are focused on, is what we are creating for ourselves. So the more we dislike someone or something, is causing us to actually attract more of those unwanted situations into our life.
We all have so much information on both sides of this question. “Good / Bad?”, “Naughty / Nice?”, “Happy / Sad?” As children we began seeing things in opposites. Actually, this is our seeing things in duality. Our basic nature is happiness and love. So therefore it is suggested that we are all good and all deserving to be happy. And yet many of us don’t believe this. We’re afraid to have goodness, everything nice, and our always being happy. We have fears, lots of fears about having abundance. So in reality we are pushing abundance away from us.
Perhaps you’ll agree that absolutely nothing about stress feels good. Stress is basically feelings based on insecurities of not knowing what to do about a particular situation. Stress feels angry, confusing, and sad. Stress also feels anxious, irritating, depressed, and fearful. Sometimes these feelings are felt at the same time making it difficult to concentrate. The amount of stress that we create for ourselves is at times overwhelming. Although it is easy to take a walk and immediately begin to feel better; out of habit, we find it easier to pout, mope, and complain.
Perhaps at times you have noticed your heart is racing while watching a movie or listening to a negative conversation. If this is your experience, you can be certain that you may actually be in a state of panic or fear. By regularly listening to the news or watching action-flicks may actually result in our subconsciously conditioning ourselves to experience a feeling of being out of control or unsafe. Just as we are influenced by television or commentary on the radio, imagine young children being in the room.
If there is one thing that we would like to change, it would be the notion that we can change something that has occurred in the past. Perhaps you may agree that if something occurred in the past, we can accept what happened and choose to begin moving forward. We can decide to change how we feel about the situation by letting go of wanting to be right. We can decide to change how we respond at a future time in relation to similar situations; although realistically we cannot change the past. In other words, we can’t change what has already occurred.
