At dinner tonight, something came up about my dear friend Rita, who inspired the book, Lessons From Rita. She’s in heaven now, or wherever it is that we proceed to upon leaving this earthly realm. Self-doubt makes us fear change. It makes us fear the unknown. Self-doubt makes us fear failure; it even makes us fear success! Self-doubt doesn’t actually reflect reality. It’s a destructive illusion. Love is the Truth

Are You a Disciple of Love?

The Free Dictionary defines disciple as “One who embraces and assists in spreading the teachings of another.” We teach by example, whether we’re doing it consciously or not. Our words and actions have a real impact on those around us. If we’re clear about what we want to represent in the world, our impact can be that much more effective. I read this on a pillow once. “All Things Grow with Love.” It is true now as it was true then. Love is focused attention. Love is kind thoughts, words and deeds. Love is patience. Love is gratitude. If you want more of something in your life, then Love it. Do you want your garden to thrive? Love your plants. Give them good soil, water and sunshine. Imagine them growing big and healthy. Love your plants. Do you want your health to increase? Love your self.
