There are many things that human beings need in order to feel fulfilled and one of those needs is the need to be seen. This doesn’t mean that they have an inherent need to be ‘famous’ though; it simply means that they need to be noticed by others. And while one could be noticed by others due to what they have achieved, it can also take place regardless of what they have achieved. Therefore, it doesn’t matter whether one is being noticed for what they have done or because they have just bought something in a shop. Ultimately, it comes down to being acknowledged by others. While men and women are both human, they are often portrayed as being radically different. It is clear that they are different on the outside, but what is not as clear is that there are differences when it comes to their brain structure. One outlook is that these differences are due to genetics, and there is another view that says these differences are the result of socialisation. This means that men and women are not that different, what have made us different are the environments we have lived in.
Blushing is caused by an emotional and visual response to a certain situation, and is associated to the emotions of fear, shame, guilt, embarrassment, ridicule and of course with being in love. Facial blushing can cause pain and embarrassment. What makes it even worse is when someone notices that you are blushing and then you start to go even more red. Excessive blushing can make you lose all your confidence and turn you into an introvert. How does blushing start? Well, blush
There could be said to be two ways that one can be harmed in this world. One of these is through exte al means and what other people do to them. And the other is what one does to themselves. What goes on exte ally can be noticed and as it is observable to others, they can come to ones assistance and put an end to what is happening. The same approach is not always possible when it comes to the harm that is being committed internally. Other people are not always aware of this form of violence and so this can end up going unnoticed.
When you are planning activities to build self esteem in children there are two aspects to consider. The first is the kind of ethos you will be fostering. Second is to focus in on the component of self esteem you most want to encourage. There are three components to self esteem. These are: * Sense of self, * Sense of belonging and * Sense of personal power. Before you begin your programme of activities stop and think for a bit about the main goal of the activities. First you need to think about the whole group.
There are some people who are described as being overly sensitive and highly empathic. And while this does lead to many benefits, there are also many challenges that arise from being this way. They can feel like sponges that pick up anything and everything that is going on in an environment. For others who are sensitive, but perhaps not to the same degree; they can be people who take everything to heart. One word, look or a certain tone of voice and one can feel emotionally overwhelmed.
Just because someone has worked hard to achieve something, it doesn’t mean that they feel as though they deserve it. The ideal would be for someone to feel as though they are worthy, no matter what they accomplish. However, there are some people who are unable to accept their achievements. Part of them may know that they have worked hard and this could even be backed up by the people around them, and yet, doubt still consumes their mind.
If someone was to come across two people who want to be in a relationship, it would be easy for them to assume that they are both in the same position. On one level, it could be said that this is the case; however, if they were to look a little deeper, they might find that there is more to it. For example, the first person might not be happy with how their life is, and through meeting someone they may hope that this will change. The second person could be happy with how their life is and as a result of this; they are now ready to find someone to share their life with.

When it comes to what one attracts and doesn’t attract into their life, thoughts are often the primary focus. And when someone has this point of view, they are seen as the key to one attracting what they want and repelling what they don’t want. So here, one needs to become hyper vigilant when it comes to their thoughts and to constantly create thoughts that are ‘positive’. And through this process, it is said that one will create feelings that reflect their thought processes.
Three hundred years ago, Isaac Newton proposed a radical new theory: the human body is a biological machine that responds solely to physical stimuli. Thus, the health of your physical machine is improved with nutrition, exercise and drugs. Accordingly, the mechanistic Central Dogma of molecular biology (circa 1958) states that your DNA was preset before your birth, so your health has been almost entirely pre-programmed.
When one losses someone, they may feel the need to let go of their possessions soon after. Or if they don’t feel this way, the people around them may encourage them to have clear out, so to speak. It could be said that the reason this would be seen as a good idea is that when something is out of site, it is often out of mind. Therefore, if one lets go of something that reminds them of the person who has passed on, it could have a positive impact on their life. Logical
When it comes to how someone sees the world, there is a strong chance that it has been heavily influenced by the mainstream media. The reason for this is that a lot of people look towards this source of information to tell them about what is taking place around them. Normal Therefore, in the same way that one is likely to pick up their phone if they want to make a call, they can read a paper or watch the news if they want to be informed. This is something that can take place without them even needing to think about it.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if you could own cupid’s magic arrow with an arrowhead filled with love and shoot people with it when they are being mean, hateful, nasty, or spiteful. When the arrow hit them, it would spread love and joy throughout their heart and entire body. They would immediately turn into the kind, loving people you’d like them to be. You can have such an arrow. While no one can tell you where or how to get it, you CAN acquire it! This arrow is called “Charisma
When thoughts and feelings of “there’s gotta be more” or this yearning to “find home” pops into our mind filled already with mind chatter, it is time to take care of Self. You do want to live stress-free, eliminate frustration and the feeling of inadequacy, right? Then, allow yourself, or even better, push yourself and become aware of your own strength and re-connect with your universal being for inner balance and harmony.
While money can give someone the power to buy most things in life, it is often said that what it can buy is happiness. It then won’t matter how much money someone has, as the size of their ‘bank account’ won’t make any difference. And while being happy is something that most people want to experience, it doesn’t mean that it everyone is going to have the same meaning. But it can include the following: having good relationships with others; being healthy; having a supportive family, feeling emotionally whole and living a meaningful life. Relationships
Why Wing Therapy™ makes people so happy? As a young girl one of the things I wanted to be when I grew up was a scientist. It didn’t quite work out that way as I turned out to be an artist. I’ve dedicated my life, for these almost 40 years, to the Performing Arts and Teaching these Arts. I am still a scientist however! I love studying and finding out what makes things tick. I sell Isis wings and teach Isis Wing dance. My method is beyond just dance. That’s why I received a divine inspiration from my S.G.I. Buddhist prayers to call it: Wing Therapy™.
While some people feel accepted for who they are, there are other people who only feel accepted when they are pleasing other people. This could be something they are consciously aware of, or it could be something they are completely oblivious to. But there are going to be clear distinctions in how each person behaves. When one feels accepted for who they are, they are not going to have the need to please others people. At times they might do what other people want, but this will be a choice and not something they have no control over.
When one uses social media, they can either send a ‘friend’ a message or they can share something on their wall. And as to what approach they take can all depend on what they want to talk about. For example, if one has something personal to talk about, they may decide to send a private message. If, on the other hand, they have something impersonal to talk about, they might end up sharing it on their wall. Two Sides
The Placebo Effect One of the best proofs that beliefs have a powerful impact on our health has existed for years right under the noses of every physician in the world: the placebo effect, “a change in a patient’s illness attributable to the symbolic import of a treatment rather than a specific pharmacologic or physiological property.” In other words, it is your natural healing ability triggered by belief in a treatment, doctor, or institution.
As time has passed, there has been a greater need for everything to happen faster. The pace of the world has rapidly increased and a lot of people no longer want to wait for things. In some cases, if someone wants something they will want it now and if they can’t have it now, then they might end up choosing something they can have straight away. This might match up with what they want or it could just satiate their needs for a short period of time. But while some things can be attainted without too much time having passed, there are some things that one is going to have to wait for.
If one is in a relationship, they could begin to wonder what has happened to it. This could be a sign that it is no longer having the same effect on them as it used to have. What this could show is that they haven’t been putting in as much effort as they did in the past. Perhaps they have spent more time at work than they usually do, or their partner is not as available as they were in the past. Another Direction
Does this sound confusing? How can you love someone and not care about what they do? What does this mean? In AA circles it is called “Detachment with Love”. In Christian circles: “Holy Indifference”, while Buddhism calls it “Non-attachment or Equanimity”. Whatever its name, it is an aloofness to all outcomes, whether involving the self or others. It is a state of calm and balance, in the midst of difficulty; a feeling of compassion, loving kindness, and sympathetic joy for self and others. The human condition makes this indifference easier said than done.
Each and every one of us is interdependent and this means that not only do we want to be supported by others, but that we also need to be; with it being it being vital for our own survival and our ability to thrive. The ideal is going to be for one to feel supported for who they are. There is then no need for them to lead a life of complete compromise and bending over backwards just to feel that they can exist, let alone thrive.
While it can be relatively easy to notice how another person behaves and how this affects their life, the same cant always be said about how one behaves and how this affects their life. And a big part of this comes down to how the modern day world is; with people generally being taught to focus on what is taking place exte ally and not to engage in any kind of self reflection. Our senses are then engaged and our attention ends up being placed on what is going on in the world.
There are many challenges in today’s world and the area of suicide is one of those. This can relate to people who are committing suicide or to people who feel suicidal and who would like to end their life in some way. Mental and emotional problems have become the norm in the western world. But even though this is a serious problem, it not something that is openly spoken about in most cases. And just like depression or any other kind of internal challenge that one can have, it is has become a taboo.
If one is in a position where they are not as slim as they would like to be, it is not going to be hard for them to find other people who are having the same experience. And this is because this is something that a lot of people struggle with. The Media For one thing, the mainstream media often talks about certain celebrity’s who are unable to keep their weight down; with there being times when they have their ideal weight and times when they don’t.
It is often said that human beings can allow their life to be defined by love or fear, and while one is often seen as destructive and the other is often seen as constructive, they both have a purpose. However, problems will arise when someone allows their life to be defined by fear. Another approach would be to say that love is the answer, and how one’s life would be fine if they allowed love to be their guide as opposed to fear. Yet, although this can sound right, it doesn’t mean that it is always the best approach.
Relationships can be fulfilling or unfulfilling and they also have the potential to create incredible satisfaction or immense frustration. There will be people who one can connect with without too many challenges appearing and others who cause one to question the human race. But regardless of what happens, relationships are a vital part of life and therefore can’t be avoided. The challenges can result in growth and enhance ones appreciation of relationships. The Observer
Are you gathering up your passions and stuffing them into into your goodie bag? Or do your fears make you ring the bell and run away instead? All of us have passions, but some of us let fear stop us from going after our passion wholeheartedly. As you’re getting the hang of the process of finding fulfillment, there are 4 questions you can ask yourself to move past fear and get the most leverage from each desire.
While it is clear that one has a physical body, what might not be as clear is that one also has an emotional body. So much attention has been placed on the mind or what could be called the mental body, that emotions often seen as being insignificant. And that the only time emotions do appear is when one has certain thoughts. This often creates the impression that emotions are just an effect of how one does or doesn’t think. Based on this outlook, one’s mind is in control and emotions are at the mercy of one’s thoughts.
Although each and every one of us is physically separate and therefore has our own needs and wants, it doesn’t mean that one is always aware of what these are. So instead of one looking within for guidance and a sense of purpose, they can end up looking to other people. This is what will be normal and what will feel comfortable to them. It doesn’t have to be something that takes place consciously either; with one just doing this unconsciously. What one should or shouldn’t be doing is then largely defined by the views and expectations of others. Dependent
I have designed some activities to build self esteem that I would like to share from an excerpt of a series of lessons I am designing on "mental self defense strategies". Dream Busters ~ Recognizing Resistance~ We have all suffered some forms of conflict or abuse in our lives. But here’s what I discovered: it is how we react to that abuse that will strengthen or weaken us. Everyone has dreams, right? How many of us have had a dream kicked to the curb? Can you remember what you wanted to be? Or do you have a dream right now tucked away in the back of your mind?
While there are some people on this planet who believe that they above others, there are also people who believe that they are below others. And this can be something that one is aware of or it could be an outlook that is outside of their awareness. However, regardless of whether one is aware of it or not, it is going to have a big impact on their life. Yet, if one is aware of how they feel about themselves, they might do everything they can do change how they feel. Up and Down
Has this ever happened to you? You chose a New Year's resolution, but you didn't know where to start, so you never got started. Your elusive desire became impossibly unattainable. When your habit is to focus on what's missing, your process of goal setting will entail gathering up a bunch of resources (including knowledge), then setting goals that relate to the resources you have. Et voila, you avoid the discomfort of wanting something that feels impossible to get.
While boundaries are essential, it doesn’t mean that they are going to be the same for everyone. One person could feel infringed upon when another person does something, and if this was to happen to someone else, it might not cause any problems. But although there will be differences in what people are comfortable with and what they are not, there will be things that apply to everyone. So this means that someone can violate another person’s boundaries without them even realising it or it could be something they do on purpose.
Believe in your self We all know about some people who managed to do the impossible even though everyone used to tell them that they won’t be able to do it. Everyone in the world is eager to succeed whatever they dream but only a few can achieve their dreams. This is because most people never believe in themselves and their abilities. Some studies have shown that some people have a deep inner feeling of not being good enough while some people have negative thought of all typ
While there will be moments where one’s emotional experience reflects reality, there can also be moments when it doesn’t. In this case, it could be said that there is no reason for one to feel the way that they do. However, even though there will be moments where it isn’t necessary for one to feel a certain way, it doesn’t mean that they will realise this. But even if they do realise this, it might not mean that they will be able to simply let go and to carry on with the rest of their life. Happiness
The beginning of someone’s life can be a time when they received what they needed in order to develop into a well-adjusted adult. As a result of this, they will now have what they need to handle life. Now, this is not to say that their life will be plain sailing; what it comes down to is that they won’t have the tendency to feel overwhelmed by life. There will the challenges they face and there will be the strength that they have to overcome them. Nature
My Dad is 87 years old, although tells everybody, because he believes it to be true that he is 77! He talks about people who are “getting on” but doesn’t put himself in the same category. When Joe’s wife asks him to do something around the house, he always seems to go along and agrees to do it. But it rarely happens. He forgets about it, or he does a little bit of it but doesn’t finish the job. Sometimes he does the job in a way that isn’t really what she wanted. He feels vaguely uneasy about this, but it keeps happening. His wife, Marge, is getting increasingly angry about this. She wonders if he cares for her and feels that she can’t trust him. She has a vague feeling that he is getting back at her, but she can’t explain this.
If someone is into self-development, they may have the need to be happy all the time. However, even if this is not something they are into, they may still have the same need. In this case, they may believe that this is the how they are supposed to experience life, and through having this outlook, they have been drawn to self-development. This could be seen as something that will allow them to fulfil this need. Feeling Good
To be human means that we are emotional beings and there are many emotions that we can have. Shame is one of them and this can stop one from acting in ways that are inappropriate for example. And yet this emotion can also end up taking over one’s life. It is then no longer something that is aiding ones life; it is something that is controlling their entire existence.
On the Ellen DeGeneres show Ronda Rousey opened up about the experience that she had after losing to Holly Holm. During this interview, she said that she wanted to kill herself after the fight. Along with this, she thought she was nothing and that no would care about her anymore. After I saw this clip, I was curious as to why she would have this experience, and it also made me think about what her early years were like. My Opinion
When it comes to bad behaviour, there are some people who put up with it and then there are others who have a very low tolerance for it. This is not to say that this is always black and white; as there are going people who alte ate between the two. Ideally, one will be in a position where they don’t tolerate bad behaviour; no matter who it is from. In order for this to be the case, one will need to have strong boundaries, and to value and respect themselves.

While some people have boundaries and are therefore able to stand their ground, there are other people who don’t. For them, having boundaries is a challenge and this could relate to a certain area of their life or every area. Standing their ground may be something they do at times, but it could also be something they never do. And as boundaries are vital and not something that one can live without, they are going to suffer.
