My life has had so many twists and turns some good and some bad but I am now at an age that I need to look at every aspect to see what is good for me and what I can change if it isn't helping me. I have found that my mind is very cluttered with things that are not really needed. I am a worrier and worry about some of the strangest things. So I decided to stop in my tracks and get everything reduced in my head before it becomes a health issue.

I had a meeting with a client last week and the discussion centered around how busy we all are. We had a lengthy chat about some strategies for taking control of each day. Here's a note I got from her over the weekend: "Just thinking of you! Detoxing my office!!!! Big Time. Amazing how in front of my desk (where you access the closet & filing cabinet) was completely blocked with STUFF for over 6 months now. Almost like my road ahead was blocked! Now all my filing is done and I will start to implement my work week.

"Inspiration does not beget action. Action begets inspiration." - Chinese ProverbnnThis proverb succinctly sums up the power of intention. Nothing happens, nothing changes without intended action. nnAn intention can best be described as an aim guiding an action. What you intend, what you truly focus your energy on, will in some form be realized. The thought alone will not make the intention come true--rather, the outcome will be influenced by your desire combined with action
Attraction of Fragrancern(Vinod Anand) There are some words we find beautiful in and of themselves; take ‘ephemeral’. It sounds good rolled around your lips, tongue and mouth, and to me it also looks good written. Its meaning, too, is hauntingly lovely—lasting for a markedly brief time. We get it from the Greek ephemeros ‘lasting a day’. It isn’t any wonder then that the words ‘ephemeral’ and ‘beauty’ often go together. The first day it began to rain, we were treated to the indefinable scent of water soaking into the parched earth.
You are the perfect instrument for Spirit to express itself through. See yourself as a perfectly endowed spiritual instrument without limitations. When you do, you will find it easy, in fact natural, to expect the good that you desire and you will also understand that doubt simply obstructs the enfoldment of healing and abundance in your life. Doubt does not shut down the workings of this power. The power is always working perfectly. The doubt you hold becomes the picture that will turn into your physical results.

Celebrities and bodyguards: the two just seem to go together. Though not every A-lister has a security team, the increase in superstar attacks, robberies, and estate break-ins has made hiring bodyguards a must for most. If only musicia John Lennon, songstress Selina, and actress/director Adrienne Shelly had hired security to protect them, they might still be alive today. Most would agree that celebrities need bodyguards, but what exactly does it take to protect a celebrity f

Do you know what you really want? You may have difficulty with this question because the answer is hidden deep within you buried beneath a sea of shoulds. Most people make decisions about their life and work based on what is generally considered “right” and “good.” What they think they are supposed to do - living from the outside in: letting others people’s expectations rule your life. Charity is born of unconditional love which prompts people to give lovingly and generously The Bible says, ‘And now abide in faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” (1 Corinthians 13:13).
There are few things more satisfying to this writer than getting comments from readers who express gratitude for my offerings. I'm NOT kidding. It's such a joy to hear from people who have been inspired by my meanderings, and to know that in some small way I'm actually helping. It's SUCH a thrill. Just this morning, as I was making my morning brew, I got to thinking about this new day and what I could to do to insure that I leave a mark. In other words, what can I do TODAY that will enhance someone's life, even if it's merely to bring a smile or nudge them over a hump.

“I am a big fan of dreams. Unfortunately, dreams are our first casualty in life – people seem to give them up, quicker than anything, for a ‘reality’.” Kevin Costne n“Study hard.” “Get good grades.” That’s what conventional wisdom says. Success, we are led to believe, will be based on natural ability or god given talents. But is this really the key to success? If success is only reserved for the ones able to do well at school or had been given the ability to memorize and appl
Most every electronic gadget today has a reset button. New homes have them on every electrical outlet, so instead of blowing a circuit, the outlet cuts off. You push the little red button, and PRESTO...it works anew. Blow dryers have them. Cars have them. Computers, cameras, phones, DVRs, you name it, they've got one. All 'for your convenience'. And then there's us. We have all these circuits we run on that, for the most part, we don't pay particular attention to. Especially the thoughts we think.

Have a sense of wonderr When was the last time you glazed with wonder and amazement at the vast starlit sky, or lay on the daisy-laden grass and felt fresh air nourish your soul? As we grow older, our busy lives can consume us and we forget to have a sense of wonder. Today, act like a child and let your mind speculate, question and marvel at everything around you.
Another source of difficulty lies in the way we often go about changing our thoughts and ideas. Indeed, many of us try to accomplish this with mere sporadic and scattered efforts. What really happens here is that even if we repeat to ourselves a few times a day new healthy thoughts and ideas, we still continue—at least, much of the time—to speak the original "language of rubbish" that we have already learned so well.
Isnt it incredible to note a simple your back heel, which is not possibly even an essential part of the shoe per se, can come for you to denote a great deal! Well, the actual dagger-like stilettos mean, display and do lot more than can ever be expected from the seemingly simple accessory (high heel) of an addition (shoe). Stilettos haven't just be studied by sneaker designers, famous person stylists not to mention fashion conscious consumers, the needle like stiletto high hee
In the first part of this article, we have seen that not only many of our thoughts are from our own making, but that we have also learned a panoply of them through the contact of our parents and/or immediate environment. Let's continue our exploration of the origin of our thoughts and ideas. For most of us, we started out school around the age of five. And if school often teaches children knowledge that is useful, it often conveys unhealthy prejudices as well -- alas, it does! After all, teachers are also human beings reared in the same way as their students.
Upon our journey from childhood into adulthood, something most saddening occurs. We lose our belief in dreaming. We trade our dreams for "real" life experiences. And, before we know it our life is one big negative ball. We dislike majority of our daily experiences. We manage to get by telling ourselves lies that the future holds happier days, if we could just get there. Days come and go without any change what so ever. And then we find ourselves on our deathbeds wish we had done so many things different. Why are waiting for your deathbed to have regrets?
"When is the last time you threw your WHOLE SELF at your dreams?" I don’t follow traditional religious figures but I recently stumbled on a You Tube clip from a sermon on COMMITMENT by Bishop T.D. Jakes and he posed that question. (Here’s the link if you want to check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1-ybyUoJUI&feature=share.) T.D. Jakes had a lot of inspiring and thought-provoking insights to share about the “C” word. How committed are you to living your life full out? How committed are you to your business?
We live in a self-cleaning oven. Not literally, of course. We would burn up if we did. Those things get really HOT! nnIn fact, self-cleaning ovens get so hot that they burn orange juice to a crisp. They get so hot that they melt thermometers. The produce enough hot air to replace the entire American Senate, the British Parliament and the Canadian PMO put together. Unfortunately, certain trade barriers and constitutional clauses impede the replacement of deadwood political ass
Of all the unenjoyable emotions that darken our lives, anxiety is certainly the most widespread... and perhaps even the most painful. Like all human emotions, anxiety can manifest itself at various degrees of intensity. The English language has attributed numerous names to these different degrees, which can lead us to believe that we are in front of as many distinct emotions. As a matter of fact, whether we talk about fear, panic, anguish, apprehension, terror, dread, fright, worry, concern, phobia, insecurity, or timidity, we are always refering to anxiety—with only some nuances.
Stepmothers are sometimes portrayed since evil females, home-breakers who deal with their stepchildren horribly. However, this can be far from simple fact. Increased divorce rates contain complicated the phrase a family. The majority of us of us understands of someone who had been raised simply by his/her stepmother. While stepmother may perhaps enjoy a popular position while in the life of the woman's stepchildren after his or her biological new mother left, situations such

When it comes to stress coping strategies, Lavender is my favorite essential oil. Aromatherapy is a very effective way to reduce stress – here’s why. Have you ever caught a whiff of perfume on a breeze and suddenly been filled with memories of another time or place? Aromas have the power to evoke distant memories of people and places because of all our senses, the sense of smell is most strongly linked to the subconscious. Scents are capable of producing immediate, intense responses because they are processed by the part of the brain that controls memory and emotion.

Life and Death are Interconnectedrn(Vinod Anand) When you begin to realize the relationship of life and death, the old model of who you are starts to expand. As your old model dies something new happens. You begin to experience directly the living truth of dying and being reborn again in each moment. When you live in the moment, then death is just another moment.
Reflect on some of the big life changes you have transitioned during your life. Some may have been rights of passage such as moving up from elementary school to middle and then high school or your first sleep over. This could include leaving home for college or military service, getting married or becoming a parent yourself. Do you remember if you felt any anxiety about the change and more specifically what it was about the change that had you felling unsettled?

It is normally to hear people talk about the things they wish to start going. We hear it so much it becomes dull to our ears. We learn to ignore those statements. It makes no logical sense for us to encourage a person speaking of the things they ought to be doing. We already know by the selection of words, they are not ready to make a change. We know because we are guilty of the same types of statements.r
ACTIVITY IS VERY IMPORTANT IN LIFErn (Vinod Anand) Action is the insignia of life. The law of life proclaims that none can remain without performing activity. Everyone is made to act according to one’s own inner temperament. If you choose to remain idle, you lead yourself to destruction. Look at Nature.
When was the last time you felt fear about something in your business? Have you ever really thought about where/how that might be holding you back? One thing you need to know is that we ALL feel fear about one thing or another but, as Susan Jeffers writes so eloquently ……’feel the fear and do it anyway’!
I sincerely hope, dear readers, that life has so far been kind to you, and that you haven't experienced too many trying times. Most of us have been in that position at some time when you may find yourself asking "why is this happening to me?". Well we are here on earth to have experiences which make us evolve and grow. Part of that growth is finding out who we are, and a great method of self-discovery is being put under pressure. Without having our mettle tested, we would be ignorant of our own strength and courage.
Nothing is stronger than intuition. Intuition is what I call "inner trust." Most people, including me, do not trust their intuition even though this inner trust guide is almost always in all ways right. But, you should tune in to your intuition. Author Laura Day in How to Rule the World From Your Couch, explains how your intuition will help you become more powerfully connected to your life. She says that intuition, which women have a stronger sense of, is the staff of success. Bob Scheinfeld in The Eleventh Element, calls intuition the X-factor for success.
