People who are making the change to a conscious and spiritually-driven life often discover that they are yoked to someone who is not prepared to come along on that jou ey. The partner is mired in his or her own negative thoughts and emotions, and meets any topic of spiritual enlightenment, ...

Whether you meditate or just want to still your mind from its incessant chatter, I have a profound message to share with you. “Thirty sacred seconds” is all that it takes to allow your conscious mind to dis-identify with your thoughts and connect you with your divine mind. Each time you do this, you are strengthening the pathway into a Presence that radiates unity and harmony. Inner peace is within your reach when you practice mindfulness. (The conscious mind functions in a world of polarity and judgment; the spiritual mind functions in the realm of love, peace and oneness.)
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves.”–1 Corinthians 13:4-7
How aware are you of your impact on the people in your world and the world around you? To do no harm (in thought, word, action) is one of the tenets of a number of faith. For that to happen means we must be paying attention and aware, as often as possible, of what those thoughts, words and ...
Mohandas Gandhi said, "There is more to life than increasing it's speed". Relaxing seems like it's a natural thing to do and that you should just be able to just sit or lie down and poof, you're relaxed, sitting loose, and feeling good. Well. it isn't that easy for a lot of people and perhaps you are one of them. The biggest challenge in resting is when you do stop doing something for a moment, you are thinking about all the other somethings you "should" be doing. Does this ring any bells? Read this sentence again.
The Truth is that you are a vast, limitless being who chose to come to earth and be in a body. During the process of trying to squish this vastness into a small body you needed to choose some limitations in order to fit into a human form. It is all a grand game and you decided which limitations you would play with. As you accept who you really are, a vast limitless creator, then the game and your life take on a new dimension. Instead of struggling, feeling unworthy and fake, you can experience and live from a place of our Expanded Self.
To give and not expect return, that is what lies at the heart of love. Blessed are those who are able to give without remembering and to take without forgetting. Give to others builds human spirit. Every act of generosity and the willingness to give of our time, our interest, concern, care, understanding, humour, loyalty conveys and nourishes love. And every missed opportunity to give and to be generous destroys our experience of love, connectedness and spirit. In giving, it
You wake up; it’s a new dawn, a new day, and yet somehow it doesn’t feel much different than the day before. It’s like today has yesterday written all over it. Not only is it the same routine as the day before with perhaps a few variances here and there, but the feelings of yesterday may have also carried forward into this pristine day. It’s tough sometimes not to get caught up in mindsets of “woe is me”, or worrying, or feeling stressed, or stuck in the mundaneness or busyness of the prior day(s) and transfer those feelings into the next.
Today I would like to share an inspiring way of seeing ourselves. As we know, human beings have an amazing brain and its potential has not yet been fully discovered. It is subjected to always new studies and experimentation. The human brain is a mystery. Stil some great human beings seem to be able to use a much greater part of it than the average person.

When you hear the term “American Dream”, what comes to mind? You can ask 100 different people this question and you’re sure to get 100 different answers. Because of the wonderful nature of individuality, there is no one correct answer to this question. However, it is guaranteed that if you were to ask this question of 100 different people, not a single one would say “to work for someone else”. Being somebody else's employee has never fit the definition of the American Dream nor will it ever. Entrepreneurialism has always been the foundation of the American Dream.
I am often criticized, we all are but it’s really important not to take it all so personally. I heard criticism is constructive. I criticize my sister sometimes and I know that when I do, I do it in a constructive way. There is something about me and people. I have this urge to try to help because I can see in them more than they are able or want to see. I strongly believe we are all special and we all can achieve great things and this is one of the reasons I do that, and that is why I may end up criticizing what others are doing, saying or believing.
What or who can push your buttons? I can think of a few. What about you? We all seem to have this invisible switch that sometimes gets turned on when something doesn’t go our way or someone upsets us. It’s almost as if we lose consciousness for awhile and this other person temporarily takes over. In a way, you do slip into unconsciousness when you are angry. It’s like a momentary, and sometimes longer, lapse of reason. You were fine, and then something/someone sets you off, and boom, you find yourself saying and acting in ways you normally wouldn’t.
"We become what we think about all day long." Ralph Walso Emerson
The "Heart Magic Skills" To A Lasting Love There are three basic things we are not taught to do well in life: 1. How to get along with the person we hope to live with the rest of our lives. 2. How to raise healthy, creative, children who have self-respect and respect others. 3. How to deal with stress and anger. These three things make up the civil in a “civilization” which describe individuals considered to have reached a high social development.

Have you ever experienced not wanting to listen to the whispers of your Soul? Last week I had an argument with my Soul about flying across country for my business. In the end, my body had to take me out of the discussion. I got sick. I wasnât going to San Diego. Period. And thatâs the end of the story. And yet I so wanted to go to San Diego⦠It was the hardest decision Iâve had to make in a long time. Never was I so torn. It was painful, to be honest. My suitcase was
Your experience of the beauty and perfection of these holidays is colored by your capacity to feel full, deep, unconditional love for yourself. Without this self-love, you will judge yourself based on what you have or have achieved or on your expectations. To live fully and celebrate fully, love yourself fully. During the end of the year, it is natural to review what you have achieved or to look at how you did in the past months. But in so doing, the result is often a sense of failure that leads to the infamous holiday blues. Why do so many people get depressed during the holidays?
“Many people want to know why I recommend a network marketing business, especially since I am not affiliated with any one company, nor did I make my money with a network marketing business.” – R.K. “Many people have acquired great wealth building a network marketing business.” – R.K. The ...
*excerpted from the E-book of the same title: Any one of us, can do most anything, for ten seconds. Think about it. Can you forgive someone for just ten seconds? Usually we can. Can you hold your tongue for ten seconds, even when you're upset? I'm sure we've all done that. And then after that ten seconds, what happens? We go right back into the angry and vindictive thoughts again. And that's not a bad thing, not at all. Angry and vindictive thoughts are simply reminders of some authentic way we are feeling deep inside, that we haven't yet fully experienced.
If you are dissatisfied with your progress toward the goals you set, or just dissatisfied with your life in general, you probably need to look at the issue of "self-sabotage." People tend to operate at two levels. They consciously have a direction they want to go, but subconsciously, there may be a conflict. For those who aren't familiar with the terminology, "subconscious" (as I am using the term) refers to the part of you that is usually outside of your awareness.
"Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)", or better known as the "Sunscreen Song", was orginally an article titled "Advice, like youth, probably is just wasted on the young" by Mary Schmich in the Chicago Tribune in 1997. This article found it's way onto the internet and was then attributed to a commencement speech given by author Kurt Vonnegut for MIT grads. Baz Luhrmann, an Austrialian film director, tracked the source of the speech to Mary and contacted the Chicago Tribune to buy the rights for the words to use in a song.

The Transformation/Ascension Process that is happening on this planet is requiring us to get bigger. We must become aware of and reintegrate parts of our selves that we have hidden. In order to step out of the illusion of polarity, for instance, we must accept our shadow parts. The end goal is to reclaim our true state as Angels/Creator/God. This process is designed to increase your awareness of your Greater Self, the Angel/Creator/God. This exercise guides you to awareness of and eventually integration with (or the shift of the lens of consciousness to) the Greater Self.
(Please enjoy this excerpt from Mary's upcoming book "Ride the Moon"!) For what can I express Gratitude in this moment, as I begin (or end) this day? For what may I express my complete and total gratitude on this magnificent day? The full moon energy is that of fullness of expression. She ...
When you've kissed all the frogs you intend to, and have found what you think is the right relationship for you, you'll need to do something to make sure your relationship lasts. There are a number of small things you can do to keep your relationship on track. 1. Don't take your honey for granted. Let him know you appreciate him (or her).
Today is a blank page. What you see in it is only what you write on it. What do you want to write on this empty page today? Every day is a blank page that opens to you, inviting you to write your present and imagine your future. That is how life is lived by creators. But are you a creator? Or are you inadvertently living a life that has already been written? If you are working hard towards your personal goals or dreams, but find that you are not advancing, keep on reading. You may be trying to write your own story in a book that has already been written!
How many times have you asked for something and when you received that something you realized that is not really that important, that you could live without it? It starts like this: you have a thought and that thought is communicating to you that something wonderful will happen once you get that which you just thought about. It could have been an expensive pair of shoes, a car, a new apartment, some really cool friends, a new wife, a new cat, a mouse etc. And you just knew it then that once you will get that something you will really be happy.
I'll admit; there isn't much I know about how to beat depression. What I do know of it, those who suffer depression find themselves in an almost daily struggle dealing with the affliction. I wish there were words of liberatio I could offer those folks...but I don't have any. I'd be remiss if I tried. However, there is a lot I know about beating desperation. And I think it's a safe bet to say that there are a lot of folks out there today who are suffering desperation. Unemployment in some parts of the world, including parts of the USA, is at double digits.

My father used to have this exercise where my brother and I would try to come up with new business ideas, and we would all try to see what it would take to make it work. My brother and I would pitch idea after idea, and my father would have some kind of objection to each one. Soon, even my brother would start to have objections to the ideas. The entire exercise became very discouraging.
I was out for dinner with a friend a while ago and she asked me several interesting questions: • “Why are relationships one of the most difficult experience there is?” • “Why do we have such deep, innate desire to seek romantic relationships or loving ...
I was at the bookstore the other day, and I noticed two kids running around playing some kind of game while their father shopped for bargain books. I couldn't quite figure out the rules of the particular game the little girls were playing. I soon realized that it was a game of their own invention. It reminded me of the time when we were kids, and my brother and I would invent games for ourselves when we were bored. At the grocery store, for example, the tiles were mostly white with a few islands of color tiles.
Can we ever really be free of the past that haunts us, the voices in our heads that tell us lies and make us do things that we don’t want to do? Can we be free of our subconscious? The Showtime Entertainment™ series Dexter™ is a dramatic statement of those questions. Dexter Morgan is a genial serial killer/vigilante who is haunted by a “dark passenger” that forces him to kill people. Dexter has learned over the years, and with the help of the cop who adopted him, to channel
Transformation is the wonderful process of moving into who we really are. It involves shedding old habits that no longer serve us, revamping outdated beliefs that limit us, and discarding rigid roles that confine us. This process opens us up to our inner truth and our divine wisdom. From this ...
Enlightened Masters have a way of speaking on many levels at once. There's the message you hear with your ears at the moment, and then there's the deeper wisdom that unfolds later when your awareness has evolved and you're ready to understand what else the message was about. Some time ago in ...
“Never instead of…always in addition to” reflects what, to me, lies at the heart of the interfaith movement. Interfaith is a “spiritual philosophy that respects and fully accepts, the wisdom contained in the worlds religions.” The understanding of the truth contained in those religions brings ...

n n Life Clarity nSiddhārtha Gautama, in Sanskrit, or Siddhāttha Gotama, in Pali, was a spiritual teacher from ancient India and the founder of Buddhism.[1] He is generally recognized by Buddhists as the Supreme Buddha (Sammāsambuddha) of our age. The time of his birth and death are uncertain: most early 20th-century historians date his lifetime from circa 563 BCE to 483 BCE; more recently, however, at a specialist symposium on this question,[2] the majority of
Your mother is brilliant, but she is blocked. She is a spiritual, creative woman and she’s made her declaration that she wants to live a life free from the ghosts of the past. She wants to make her dreams come true, to share her gifts with the world. But she’s bumping into an obstacle, and she’s so frustrated that you fear she may just give up. If this is happening to your mom, (or if you are the mom and this is happening to you), help is on the way. This article reveals why mom is stuck and how she can go from blocked to brilliant again.
In the hustle and bustle of life and all that this entails, the act of radical self-care can easily be set aside. Have you ever said 'I haven't got time to meditate', 'I never have a moment to myself', or 'I have so much to do, I'll do it later'? There have certainly been times in my life when I have felt like there are not enough hours in the day to accomplish everything I'd like to. Yet, what I found was that in the moment that I stopped, took a deep breath, and created time 'just for me', was exactly the moment when I began to find the time.
I was driving on the highway the other day and a sign said, "Enjoy Your Commute". I thought to myself, "Thank-you, I am", and not just the road I was driving on, but the road of life. Sure, there are still moments or days where I feel like I’ve hit a pothole, so to speak, where I wasn’t able to steer away from that one. Some are a little bigger than others, in fact, a few may even seem like the Grand Canyon, but the difference is I now remember that the road of life is under construction as well as paved with gold.
I want to show how our life can be so much different if just before a silence we end up positive in our talk. The last note of our talk is like the last note of a song, it stays longer and it has more impact on our mind. The end of a sentence brings you somewhere. It could take you somewhere you like, and make your life easy. Let me give you a few examples! CHANGE THE ORDER OF THE SENTENCES We usually say things like: "I would call my brother in Australia but it is too expensive". But what if we say "It could be expensive but I want to call my brother" .
With the increasing demands and expectations we often place upon ourselves, as well as the pace of life quickening for many, or the feeling of time running out, it can be difficult to enjoy life to the fullest. We are either reliving or feeling stuck in the past, complaining and stressed and/or anxious about our current situations, or worrying about the future. This leaves our relationship with present moments slipping away as soon it arrives without even a second thought, let alone the enjoyment and appreciation of what it’s offering.
What are your excuses for not doing something about your life? When you start learning anything, the line of least resistance has the tendency to win. Don't fall into the trap! Set your goals. Choose a course of action. Hire a coach, hypnotherapist, or other professional to assist you as you begin to navigate your way to the life you really want. And then, stick to it. As the old saying goes, “inch by inch, it’s a cinch.”
Oftentimes the only obstacle blocking us from receiving of the vast abundance God has for us is accepting our ‘value and worth.’ Many have been led to deny their story, by hearing ‘keep your business to yourself’, or similar phrases. Or perhaps you discounted your feelings because you heard, ...
Most paradigm shifts happen in increments, rather than one huge burst. The increments represent the micro-movements and changes within the cellular level. Like small twitches, little shifts occur that add up to huge change. While in the process of these micro-movements, the deep underlying ...
Most people know when they are feeling jealous, but often they struggle with admitting it, as well as knowing how to tame ”the green-eyed monster”. Envy really is quite a common feeling. I don’t think there are too many people that can honestly say they haven’t felt the pangs of it at one time or another in their lives. You can be jealous over just about anything - relationships, money, success, appearances, time, jobs, cars, sobriety, weight loss, etc.
We are all connected to the same consciousness but we’re all different. Could you imagine if we were all the same? What a boring or scary existence that would be. Even though identical twins may look exactly the same, their personalities vary. These differences are what make us all unique.
