The spin room went dark 5 minutes before class ended. Since this was the second day in row for this mysterious event, the room was abuzz with the question “Why”. Someone softly remarked, “the quickest way to make a miracle disappear is to question it.” So it is with miracles, we question them. The better “why” question is “why would you question a miracle?”

Have you ever failed to come across the way you wanted to when you needed to the most? Did you ever find yourself struggling to make a good impression or persuade the person you’re talking to whether in social situations, at interviews, or at presentations? Does speaking to an audience or someone new make you anxious, stammer or get all sweaty? You are not alone! Over the years I’ve helped hundreds of people with low self-esteem, lacking confidence, and not being able to communicate effectively.
There will always be barriers and obstacles between where you are right now and where you want to be. If your desire is fairly strong, you will definitely get started on it. You will probably spend a lot of money and time on it, too. You may even get most of the way there. However, the day you encounter a barrier or obstacle that is bigger than your desire, you will be stopped. That's the bad news. Ther
2012-Mission to Improve Self-esteem To be of service to others, I do a lot of reading and research. Original thinking is fine but what I know and coach originated from others. The biggest issues I help others to come to grips with are related to self-esteem. Today I share writing from Francine Ward, a lady I wish I had as a coaching client! “Self-esteem comes from honouring your healing jou eyr My life is not perfect. I make a lot of mistakes. Sometimes, I stumble and fall. I am a work in progress. And when I remember that simple fact, I am better for the experience.r
"Life is easy" seems easily understood intellectually. Take what comes along with thanks and gratitude; the circumstances and choices we make are perfect for us. All this feels right when said in a contemplative atmosphere. But after a few doses of life's reality, we have a difficult time ...
Are You a Rock Star Performer? Regardless of the industry you are in, you can have Rock Star Power! Now, I'm not talking the Hollywood celebrity kind, I'm referring to the people who tend to give extraordinary service with their work and with those around them. You influence, you love what you are doing, and it radiates out from you. You are the kind of person that does more than expected; you are likeable and people want to be around you. Do you have Rock Star Power? I'd be interested to hear what your immediate response was.

Prosperity is often associated with money. The more money you have, the more prosperous you become. This has become a common belief that is false. Most of our lives, we have been taught by the our instinct and society to be "go-getters"; meaning, we have been taught to always grab the opportunity to make money as much as we can to have a prosperous living. But for most people who believe in this, seem to have the opposite situation of what they want, resulting to depression and regret. In order to turn your life around now, let us define first prosperity.
The more interesting and enlightening you are, the more people will welcome you into their lives and the more opportunity will abound. Learning is not limited to going to school or getting a degree. It's surprising that many people stop feeding their minds after a certain point. For some, that point is high school graduation; for others, it's graduating from college. A large university once took a survey of its recent graduates and found that 90 percent hadn't read a single book since they'd left the university.
The way you act towards other people can be categorised into three types of behaviour: Passive, Aggressive and Assertive. If you tend to act passively then you may be seeking to avoid conflict, often at the expense of your own needs. If you tend to act aggressively, you may go to the other ...
Whether you are nurturing a business or career, a family, an intimate relationship, or a secret dream, your time and energy are the most valuable commodities you possess. No matter how wisely you spend them, the truth is that they are limited in supply and extremely precious. Another truth: productivity and energy both depend on fuel. Just like our cars, when we aren’t fueled and properly maintained, we don’t run well. When we don’t give ourselves the experiences and care that allow us to be at our best—we simply aren’t our best.

Lean but not too skinny, and not to muscly either. Slim hips, cellulite free and toned thighs, small calves, skinny ankles… When it comes to talking about our legs, we seem to have what we want pretty clear. We all have different body types and are genetically predisposed to store fat in different areas in our bodies. However, studies show there is direct correlation between the type of foods we eat and where in our bodies we store body fat.
Success is an inside job. Even if your body and mind are ready, willing, and able to learn and do whatever is necessary to get the job done, a negative self-image may stop you. Although we create many outward images of ourselves-so we can interact with or impress others and sell our ideas or services-we only have one self-image. The way we view ourselves determines the level of success we attain in anything. To achieve more success, some parts of our sense of self will have to change.
Sugar is a name given to a class of edible crystalline carbohydrates, mainly sucrose, lactose, and fructose, characterized by a sweet flavour. In food sugar almost exclusively refers to sucrose, which in its fully refined form primarily comes from sugar cane and sugar beet, though is present in natural form in many carbohydrates. Other refined sugars used in industrial food preparation are glucose, fructose or fruit sugar, high fructose corn syrup, dextrose, maple syrup, malt syrup, honey, etc.
All of us are fascinated by greatness whatever its form, sports, entertainment and even gardening! We love to see people doing ordinary things in extraordinary ways. We feel likewise when seeing extraordinary things being done in extraordinary ways. Something about the sight stirs our senses and provokes remembrances of when we entertained visions of our own greatness. The good news is that you still have time to design a life of greatness if you are willing.
To achieve your Core Desires-whether they are earning more money, enjoying more intimacy, or having more joy in your life-you need to grow, become more, learn, and change. How fast you grow is within your control; you can experience great growth if you desire it. But you can't just sense a need to change; you can't "sorta" want to be more or have more. If you are willing to grow, life as you have known it will never be the same.

If you think that the foods you eat and how you feel have nothing to do with each other, it’s time to open your mind, and close your mouth, to certain foods, that is. I remember my recent visit to Spain, where, for the umpteenth time I heard my own mother complain about how crappy she is feeling pretty much all the time. And for the umpteenth time, I told her to stop eating so much bread, pasta, potatoes and sugary foods, or quit whining. Her response is always the same: Don’t be silly, we’ve always eaten these foods – she said. Always? – I asked.
Having to work with temperamental people is not easy at all. In fact, being around and having to deal with people who easily lose their cool can take away all the fun in your job! It can also be very intimidating to work with a person like this, and if you're not very careful, you may find yourself getting trapped in dealing with him or her in unhealthy ways. You might end up constantly following this person's orders, blaming yourself for this person's mistakes, or totally avoiding this person.

Are you are an information-maniac, a news junkie, a social-media butterfly? If so, you might be hurting yourself more than you think. The costs of information addiction are many and profound. Alas, I know this not only from personal experience ("Hello, my name is Liisa and I'm an info-holic.") but also from many of my coaching clients who share this malady. Let's face it: multi-talented, creative people are, by definition, interested in many, many things. We appreciate ideas. It's natural to want more. And more. But there's a point after which, the pain outweighs the gain.

Core Desires are the ignition mechanism for the Conquering Force. This is what a Core Desire can do in your life- ignite the Conquering Force within you. I've taught hundreds of karate students, most of whom indicated they wanted to be black belts, but few of them ever achieved that distinction. Not because they didn't have the ability but because it wasn't a Core Desire. The sooner you identify your Core Desires, the sooner your Conquering Force kicks in.
God helps those who help themselves. You ever heard that before? I notice with some of my clients are visioning, visualizing, writing out their goals and affirmations, but they’re not taking any action. They aren’t getting the results that they want. Now, I notice that also there’s another truth here. Some of my clients do no visioning, do no goals, do no dreaming, and I’d like to propose that the visioning, the goals, the affirmations, the dreaming- those are modern day ways of connecting to God.
Although many people acknowledge that we are born with an incredible, God-given power to do, have, or become whatever we want, no one has explained what it is or how to turn it on. We wonder, "Where is the switch to my hidden energy?" Your Core Desire is the switch. Having your heart fixed on your Core Desires is how your latent talents, gifts, and abilities are unleashed. Once you have a genuine, clear, and accurately defined Core Desire, you will expend all the necessary effort, for as long as it takes, to overcome any obstacle in your way in order to achieve it.
Changes can be unsettling. Honestly, they can be so scary they literally paralyze you in your tracks. Yet, without change we never achieve growth in our lives, careers, or relationships. Recently I was faced with emergence of changes in the area of my career and whether to sell our home of 14 years. It wasn’t a decision made ove ight, and even once I made the decision to leave my corporate job and too eventually sell my home it still wasn’t all together easy to embrace the idea of these significant changes.

"We first make our habits, and then our habits make us." - John Dryden A coaching client was recently talking to me about her struggle to establish a regular meditation practice.
Bonnie St. John Deane grew up in hospitals, in leg braces, and on the wrong side of the tracks, but that didn't stop her from believing that an African-American girl, with only one leg, could learn to ski. As soon as I learned to ski a little, I set my sights on qualifying to compete in the 1984 Disabled Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria. Such an outrageous dream made me stand taller just thinking about it.
How do we move forward? Does anyone have any idea how much potential we have and why we don’t use it? Does anyone have any idea that there is no reason at all left in this world? Does anyone have any idea on how to change this and what it is that we have to change? And one final question do you have any idea why you are not living the life that you want? These are just some of the many questions that must be answered by all of us but most times we don’t really want to know the answer or we think it is too hard to answer.
Statistics show that most toddlers lea how to say about 20 words by 18 months. Talking is easy, ask anyone and they won’t even remember how they started doing it, it just comes naturally. But what might not flow as smoothly as words, is body language. It’s a whole different deal when you’re using your hands, eyes or head instead of your tongue. And what makes it even more complicated is the fact that body language differs all around the world, just like spoken language, except there are countless subtleties.
As you go about the project of reinventing your life, one key factor is to develop new habits and shed the old ones that no longer serve you. It is difficult to let go of an old habit unless you replace it with a new habit. Get your emotions involved in creating a new habit and you will have a much stronger chance of making that habit fully ingrained in your life. The most important thing in developing a new habit is to be conscious about it. Realize that what you are doing is programming your brain as if you are programming a computer. Repetition is what creates a habit.
It can be so easy to look at what is in front of you and say "that's it". Our lives are a reflection of what is happening inside of us and what we think about often. Our life highlights the current limits that we might place on ourselves, or don't. If your current life is reflecting back to you a situation that is not what you are entirely happy with, then look at it, right in the eye and start to vibrate towards that which you want. How do you do that?
The Success Attitude formula makes achieving your Core Desires simple. The Success Attitude formula shows you how to unlock and open the door of opportunity. Success Attitude = (Core Desires + Direction) X Proper Action + Persistence
