Therefore, do not open your oven when it's on fire under any circumstance. Just allow the fire to burn out or get a fire extinguisher. If these prove abortive, call for emergency.

2. Do Not Use Metal Objects on Your Nonstick Pots and Pans

Nonstick pots and pans are specially made and using any sharp utensil on it will damage this uniqueness of the pot or pan. So, avoid it and help that nonstick pan and pot serve you well.

3. Do Not Talk on The Phone While Cooking in The Kitchen

Dividing your attention because you're on a phone call while cooking can cause fire, spillage of hot stuff, dropping of sharp utensils on your leg, dropping of expensive breakable wares, etc. Also, this is not advisable when the gas is on as well just as is adviced in gas stations.

4. Do Not Mix Water in Hot Oil

Doing this can result in serious trouble for you and your kitchen. Oil burns more violently when it's heated and when mixed with water, the oil floats. The steam from the water forces the oil up and out which in turn causes fast spray or explosion.

5. Do Not Taste Your Cooking with Your Finger

For starters, dipping your finger into your cooked food to have a taste can make it go sour. Secondly, your fingers may look neat, but may actually be covered with a swarm of bacteria and microbes which cannot be seen with the naked eyes. You will agree with us that when those get into your food, then your health is in trouble. Therefore, with a tablespoon, taste your cooking before serving it.
