in the world did this site get to the top. It simply boils down to this " Those that do know how to get the

When submitting to a web directory you want to do a little research. First of all, you will need to find the 

Google Page Rank of the site. You will only want to use a web directory with PR 4 or higher. Another 

major factor overlooked by many web masters is a directory that passes Page Rank. This simply means 

that the web directory passes a little of its page rank to each of the sites listed on the directory. I web 

directory can have a page rank of 9, but if it does not pass page rank then it is of little help to your 

search engine listing. I suggest you find 10 to 20 decent directories all with page rank above 5 that 

pass page rank as well and submit your site to them. This will start you on your way.

-Get noticed by creating huge amounts of one way links (i.e. article submission, forums, directories, etc) in a very short period of time.

2. The second is where many webmasters make a fatal blunder. If you use auto link submission 

software or post your links to a hundred sites a day the search engines will know. There algorithms in place can detect such behavior such as mass link postings. For example, if a major search engine has indexed a page that has only 3 or 4 incoming one way links and a day or 2 later the search engine finds 200 inbound one way links they will flag it. Search engines love sites that contain a high density of keywords that are exactly the same as the keywords on your site. Here is how it works. Let us say your top keywords on your website are widgets", "making widgets",and "selling widgets." If you can find websites that have these exact keywords with about a density of 3% to 5% and get a one way link to your site search engines will award you gold stars. There are many free tools out there you can use to determine the density of keywords on certain pages. If you can get just a few high page ranking sites with a high density of keywords matching your keywords your ranking in the search engines will shoot up.
