Opportunities are all around us. We just need to have the vision to see them and the courage to grab them and hold on.

We can learn a great deal from people. Let us take for example Ludwig Von Beethoven, who came from a musical family, but was totally deaf when he composed some of his greatest works,
including The Ninth Symphony. Passion always finds a way.

Or take for example Thomas Alva Edison. He too had a hearing problem. That did not stop him from developing the electric light bulb, the phonograph, and the small transmitter that gave way to Alexander Gram Bell’s invention of the telephone. Where there is a will, there is a way.

Thomas Edison asserted “Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration.”

Unfortunately, many people are happy in their rut or comfort zone. Maybe the reality is that they are afraid to even try for fear of failure. One must be willing to accept failure and try again. As many times as Walt Disney failed, he picked himself up and tried again until he succeeded … and boy did he succeed!

Consider this quote from Albert Einstein: “Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.”

There are many, many opportunities out there just waiting for someone to find one and make it their own. Why can’t that person be you?
