Create, Create, Create!

There you are, sitting on the ledge…

You are there on the line between greatness and just being one of the masses who dream a big dream but get absolutely nowhere…

You have within you the ability to change lives, starting with your own…

But the fear of making a mistake holds you back…

You want certainty, you want someone to tell you that this one product/service/art/music/whatever of yours will definitely work…

And so you wait.

On the ledge…

And time passes you by…

Your people wonder where you are…

They do not know that they are waiting for you to show up, of course…

And you do not realise that these are your people because you are sitting on the ledge, waiting for them to come beg you to move…

You think that if they really wanted you then they would come find you…

But that is never gonna happen!

You are the fucking leader!

You are the one who has to actively go find them and then you have to convince them to move and so yes, it will feel tougher than you want it to feel and you kinda know this and so, you sit on the ledge…

Hoping somehow that it will all become easy and some miracle will happen and suddenly everyone will be clamouring to your door wanting you to sell them stuff…

Well, honey, it will not happen.

Sorry, but not sorry.

You are a creator at heart…

It is time to get off that ledge and get to creating more stuff.

Yes, the creation you are dreaming about, right now, may not work but guess what?!

The quicker you find that out, the better.

You can then get on and create something else…

FAIL FAST!

Not the most encouraging of things and yet, to me, IT REALLY IS!

Why?

Because I have control over that…

I can create, put it out into the marketplace…

Create, put it out into the marketplace…

Create, put it out into the marketplace…

And continue to do this until something(s) works…

I have control of that…

It is like a law of averages…

If I stick around long enough, and KEEP DOING THE WORK…

Then at some point, no one will be able to ignore me because I just keep coming…

Maybe that sounds too uncertain for you…

But it always works for me.

I just work harder, faster than most and I win…

I like it because I can control this…

I can control my rate of creation…

I got off the ledge when I realised this…

I could have certainty…
CERTAINTY IN MYSELF!
CERTAINTY THAT I WOULD NEVER STOP!
CERTAINTY THAT I WOULD WIN OR DIE TRYING!

And that certainty made me switch off every other nonsensical desire to stay sat on the ledge…

Maybe, I am one of the crazy ones…

But I think you are too if you would just see that you have control of this and that there is certainty to be found…

INSIDE OF YOU!

Will you keep creating until you look up and see that everything is working?

Will you give up this start-stop thing you do which adds to your uncertainty?

Will you believe enough in you, your product, service, art, music, book, ministry to keep pushing down every freaking obstacle that even THINKS about getting in your way?

Will you stop letting your fears and feelings win the day?

You are born for more and you are a creator…

GET TO WORK CREATING THE LIFE YOU DESIRE!

Success is inevitable if you will simply get off the ledge, embrace the fact that many mistakes will be made and CREATE, CREATE, CREATE anyway…

And when I say ‘create’, it could simply be that email that you need to send out today…

It could be that advert you need to create and send out into the market…

It could be a whole other product…

It could be anything.

JUST GET CREATING!

And never EVER stop.

Do not stop to feel sorry for yourself or anything.

KEEP MOVING FORWARD!
