GAMSAT is a well known entrance exam method followed by the medical schools in the UK, Ireland and Australia. It is the tough exam. It has created to be tough to choose the potential candidates. Time management is important in writing this test. It depends on how you “prioritize the questions”. Prioritizing plays a vital role in GAMSAT. There is lot of chances to get deviated and spend more time on questions initially. It may cause you to run out of time at the end.
"Prioritizing" is the primary area that you will be focused on during your GAMSAT. It could be the secret of many students’ success. Time plays a vital role in standardized exams. "Prioritizing" and "Time management" are related to each other. Candidates don’t have to worry about time management when they prioritize questions in a proper manner in the exam.

I would like to share more about "Prioritizing" in this article. Let us see the steps involved in prioritizing.

Steps involved in "Prioritizing":

1. Start answering the best known questions initially. This is the technique that you need to follows in Section 3. You can either answer or guess the more challenging questions at last.

2. In section 1, you will have to scan through the passages and look for ones that are relatively short in length, but had several questions to answer. This means that you won't waste time reading lots of things but answering very few questions.

3. Don’t be completely focused on time. It will increase your stress. It is good to concentrate on the easy questions first. It will give you a better sense of timing. You would be clear and complete the test on time if you are not totally concerned about the "TIME".

4. It is quite important to work out your strategy before entering the exam. This is best done from sample papers. Use this strategies starting from your practice tests. I would like to share this tips on GAMSAT practice tests.

5. Reading time is the best spent picking out the slam-dunk questions for the "easy" marks as some could be the last 20 that you end up just filling in the circles randomly in the last few minutes.

6. After completing the easy ones, I recommend you to going back to the beginning and having a semi-methodical approach, so as to not get too lost. Any hard ones that are taking too much time just skip and make them the ones you guess at the end.

7. The possibility of missing your place on the answer sheet is scary and easily done. Put a dot next to the question number on the answer sheet of ones you have missed so the question is still "marked". You can be aware that if it has a dot and an answer you have screwed up. Once an answer has been worked out, the dot is erased.

Follow the above steps and do your GAMSAT well.
