Runa Vimochana Narasimha Stotram

Lord Vishnu is one of the Hindu gods who form the Trimurti, along with Brahma and Shiva. Lord Vishnu is the preserver of the universe. In every age, Vishnu incarnates on earth, whenever the forces of evil threaten to overwhelm the world and the rule of Dharma or righteousness. He takes different forms on such occasions. It is believed that there are 10 incarnations of Vishnu. The last one, Kalki, is supposed to appear in Kali Yuga, which is the Yuga we are currently living in. In whichever form he appears on earth, Vishnu’s role is to destroy evil and restore the moral order on earth. He has taken the forms of animals too, like the tortoise, boar, etc. but among all his incarnations, the most fearsome is that of Narasimha – half-man, half-lion. This incarnation was taken to destroy the evil demon, Hiranayakashipu, and protect his ardent devotee, Prahlad, who was the demon’s son. The day of Lord Narasimha’s advent is celebrated a Narasimha Jayanti 2020. In 2020, it will be celebrated on May 5.

Runa Vimochana Sri Narasimha Stotram is a very powerful prayer. It supposedly brings quick relief from debts and other financial crisis. For answering the need of the devas,
You emerged from a pillar in a palace,
Oh Narasimha, great warrior,
I salute you to be free of my debts.
Your left side is embraced by Goddess Lakshmi ,
And you grant boons to your devotees,

God who wears as garland, the inner part of your enemy,
God who holds a conch wheel, a lotus, and other weapons,
