The definition of the term E liquid

The popularity of the electronic cigarette’s (e-cigs), shot up during the

last two years. E liquid refers to the liquid that generates smoke from the

e-cigs. It is made up of flavoring, propylene glycol and nicotine

substances. At times, it is referred as e juice. As the individual smokes

the electronic cigarette, an atomizer heats the e juice.

A Chinese pharmacist, Hon Lik came up with the electronic cigarette model.

The proponent of the e-cigarette Herbert Gilbert wrote about it as early as

1963.

The uses of electronic cigarettes

Tobacco or cigarette smokers use e-cigs as an alternative. The electronic

cigarettes reduce a smokers craving. Thus, the creation of an electronic

cigarette aims to reduce the adverse health effects that come from cigarette

smoking.

The elements of the liquid found in electronic cigarettes

Unlike a normal tobacco cigarette that produces smoke, this one produces

vapor. The liquid contains propylene glycol also known as glycerin and

nicotine. When the cigarette lights up, it heats the glycerin, which then

turns into an aerosol mist and this is what the smoker inhales. It comes in

different flavors with the most common being menthol.

Some individuals choose cigarettes that produce thick vapour. Others choose

those that have no flavours. Food flavors like coffee, vanilla and cola also

exist. More exotic flavours such as strawberry and cream pie are just but a

few of the wide variety of flavours.

The throat feeling that the e juice generates

The sensation one feels in his or her throat is extremely essential. The

first makes of cigarettes made smokers feel like they had been smoking air.

Current ones meet the smoker’s nicotine inhalation needs. This sensation

occurs when the smoker inhales the vapour into their throats. Manufactures

customize the formula of each cigarette depending on the customer. The

smoker should be left with a feeling like that of having smoked a real

cigarette.

Safety levels of this liquid

Safety precautions have to be taken by individuals who refill their own

cigarettes. The nicotine contained in the liquid can be dangerous if

ingested. Children should not be allowed to get into contact with the liquid

nor smoke the e-cigs. The electronic cigarette should be recharged since it

uses an LED battery. Some cigarettes light up automatically as they contain

a sensor. The contents of the battery can also be detrimental to one’s

health.

Where the liquid can one find the liquid

One can choose to buy an already filled cartridge from the manufacturer. In

some cases, the liquid can be bought personally from the manufacturing unit.

There are several people who are renowned for selling e juices. Currently

most companies prefill the electronic cigarettes. One can find more

companies through the internet and determine their offers. China and

America are the two biggest producers of the e liquid.

Electronic cigarettes have not undergone extensive research. Being a recent

creation, scientists and researchers have not yet explored it fully. No one

can say that its use does not carry health risks. Most smoking laws should

be amended to cater for the device. Many regions of the world do not even

know of its existence. The fact that children may start using it makes it

hazardous, as it contains nicotine elements. But, its safety rate can still

be debated as no clear theory about it exists and its nicotine level cannot

be termed as safe.

The World Health Organisation does not recommend smokers to use this

replacement therapy. The fact that individuals can refill their own

cartridges poses a danger. This can easily lead to overdose of the liquid by

an addict. The foods and drugs board, issues guidelines on consumption and

manufacture of the e juices and cigarettes.

Liberty Flights passively encourages people who do not already smoke not to take up a E liquid nicotine habit, therefore if you are not already a smoker then please do not buy any of our products or devices.
