It is the free server-side scripting language which is used to make dynamic and interactive Web pages and usually processed by an interpreter. It is a widely used language and many popular websites like Facebook, WordPress, and Digg.com are made up with the help of this language.

.NET is the software framework that functions mainly on Microsoft Windows. It consists of a Framework Class Library and it provides security, memory management, and exception handling.
