Hi, I’m Anne Wayman and I’ve been freelance writing for over thirty years. (It doesn’t seem that long!) Although it took awhile, I’ve been fully self-supporting through my freelance writing for many of those years now. I’m pleased to also report my writing income increases nicely each year, and I’m
getting residual income in place as well.
How I got there, how I’m staying there and how I’m increasing my income is what I want to share with you at here.
Here’s what you can expect:
Personal computers and the ‘net have been an integral part of my success. Back before PC referred to a Windows machine (or became part of the political landscape) I wrote technical manuals for Kaypro and third-party software manuals for a variety of publishers. It was during that time that I also did my first ghostwriting job, finishing a book called What You Think Of Me Is None Of My Business by Terry Cole-Whitaker.
Life took me to the bay area where I ghostwrote, lived aboard a boat at Galilee Harbor. The online world was just beginning and I became active at The Well, probably the world’s first online community.
My first web job was writing for Match.com - I was one of their first 25 or 30 employees. I’d been on a DOS machine and had never seen a web image when they hired me.
My first grandchild was born in San Diego, Emily, and I fell in love in a way I never knew was possible, so returned to my home county.
Write well and often!
I coach writers on an individual basis by phone.
I also conduct occasional teleclasses.
Take a look at my websites - how can I be of service?
