Debbie Carr is the Principal of Coyote Management International Speakers Bureau and a recruitment consultant.

 In 1998, Debbie lost her beloved  brother, Gary, to suicide.  This change impacted her life greatly, and soon after she was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease.  Debbie believes the emotional impact of Gary's death contributed to her being diagnosed with the disease.

Debbie speaks frankly about her brother's death. What led him to it, his depression, the day he died but most importantly, the devastation and impact it has on those left behind.  She demonstates how she coped with this devastating change and the consequential challenges in her life. 

She has just finished her first book, Seemingly Sane  which contains the very personal and emotional journal she kept after her brother Gary died.  She decided to publish the journal in hope that it may save others from taking their own life and inspire them to reach their full potential with her stories.  The book also contains some very personal and  bizarre stories of her life.  "People think these things only happen to other people, but they don't, they can happen to anyone and you can either sink or swim.  Are  you going to drown or are you going to swim?" she asks. 

The second part of her inspirational keynote Debbie talks about why she started the speakers bureau, her struggles with it and how with passion, determination and, most importantly, by believing in yourself, you can achieve anything.

Debbie left school at the age of 16 without any formal qualifications.  She feels blessed to have found herself in the motivational industry, where she has been mentored and inspired by many others. 

Debbie believes your thoughts create your reality, and teaches some techniques that can be applied immediately to improve lives.  She has proven this works many times herself, including keeping well despite the Crohn's Disease diagnosis.
