Storytelling, as it relates to individual and organizational growth, is a major component of Ed's work. His first two books published, Lessons from the Porch: A Gathering Place for Telling Our Stories and Lessons from the Crossroads: Finding My Authentic Path, are the story of Ed's personal journey toward wholeness. The lessons that emerged from these books are transferable to individuals and organizations that desire to discover their own paths to follow. Personal and organizational growth is synchronistic. Separating the two is impossible. Currently, Ed is writing Lessons from Empowering Leaders: Stories Moving Your Organization Toward Greater Success. The book is a compilation of the stories of leaders throughout the country and demonstrates how leaders can and do use storytelling to encourage all employees to internalize the desire to drive their organizations toward greater success.
An exceptional storyteller, Ed's inspirational and motivational presentations exemplify the application and importance of stories to organizational success.

Getting Started With Ed Poole
Ed Poole is best known as " The Lesson Guy." Only by telling his life story has Ed been able to learn the lessons that emerged from the story. If we stand still long enough, and are open to the deafening silence we hear, some day along the way we will stumble upon the lessons. Many times Ed has said, "Oh, now I understand what that was all about." Lessons from the Porch, Ed's first book, is a great place to begin. I would also recommend subscribing to The Lesson Guy Newsletter, published quarterly. Both the book and the newsletter provide practical applications to your own personal journey.
