Peter Stephenson has researched the published
biographies of one hundred famous people in Australia, the United
States of America, the United Kingdom and elsewhere.
They have become successful in the fields of business, government, entertainment, sport and other occupations.
The vast majority are still living, indeed, many are still
relatively young, and there is an approximately equal representation of
women and men in the one hundred people researched.
Peter had a particular focus, namely, what were they doing as young
people? Were there any particular similarities or patterns to which
their successes in life could be attributed?
He discovered there are very clear patterns, indeed, a range of key factors for success in life, and they likely apply to you.
Check through the success factors below. If you are
unsure about what these factors mean in your own case, then you will
likely benefit immensely in undertaking the uSucceed in Life Journey.
You will learn:
How and when you should define and start pursuing success in life. Most people don't, or leave it too late. All successful people do, and most when still quite young.
Learn how.
How you are affected by family influence, and whether it is positive and supportive, or negative and potentially disruptive. Learn how you might benefit more from positive family
influence, just like 65% of successful people. If this is not for you, learn the alternatives.
How you should develop personally, through conventional or specialised education, or through broad life experience. One of these options will likely work best for you - learn which one, as all successful people
do.
How and when in your life, you should define and pursue those interests about which you are most passionate. Again, most people don't, or leave it too late. All successful people do,
and many when still quite young. Learn how.
You will learn:
How strong your achievement orientation should be, or your will to succeed. Although it can help, you don't need to be a driven self starter. Learn what you need to be.
How prepared you should be to try out new things and take risks. Similarly, although it can help, you don't need to be an entrepreneur. Learn what you need to be.
How you should develop successful interpersonal relationships in the work setting. Similarly, although it can help, you don't need to be born leader. Learn what you need to be.
You will learn:
How important for life success your attitude and personal behaviour are. Here again, you have choices. Learn about them, and what this means to you.
How important for life success your intelligence is. You don't in fact need to be a "brainiac". Learn how best to apply your intelligence, as all successful people do.
How important for life success your strength of character is. Strength of character, in different forms, is a facet of all successful people. Learn what is optimal in your own case.
You will learn:
How prepared you need to be for the inevitable "ups" and "downs" we all experience as we progress in our lives. All successful people experience this. Learn about it, so you can prepare for
it.
This may include "misfortune" and "recovery", or milder "peaks" and "troughs". Learn exactly what this may mean to you, and how to come out on top.
In either of the above situations, getting out of the lows
can be hastened by pursuing "lucky breaks" and by "making your own
luck". Learn how to apply these incredible techniques, when you need to.
And in all cases, progress towards success in life entails going through several discrete stages. Learn what these stages are, and action plan to progress through them.
Peter Stephenson's uSucceed in Life Journey is
effectively, a short course taken online. It leads you as a young
person, through the comprehensive and fascinating results of his
research, helps you address all these
succcess factors, and provides you with the necessary guidelines and
personal action planning templates to convert your plans into actions!
The process commences at no cost, with your undertaking a confidential assessment which generates your Free uSucceed in Life Profile.
Those young people undertaking this Journey are
advised to take breaks between each section, because their Journey is a
major expedition of self reflection and discovery - it is not a simple
and quick "tick and flick"
exercise! It therefore takes three to four hours to complete fairly
comprehensively, or just a couple of hours if shortcuts are taken!
