Tanya Hart is a Nutrition Consultant and author, certified by the Global College of Natural Medicine in Santa Cruz, CA. Her decision to eat consciously and to help others do the same resulted from frustrations with feeling emotional imbalances, feeling stuck energetically, and feeling an emptiness in her life's work that she wished was overflowing. She had grown up eating processed foods out of the box, and never thought about what she was putting into her mouth until one day she reached her tipping point. "What am I eating?" she asked herself. Tanya learned quickly that a separation between food and our consciousness is a disconnect that is just not sustainable.
Every cell that determines our mood, energy level, state of mind, outlook, quality of sleep, sex drive, brain power and more is fueled solely by the food we choose to eat and how we process that food. The most important word there is "choose". It is hard to choose the quality of air we breathe, water we drink, or environmental toxins we are exposed to. But we can choose what we put into our mouths. We can educate ourselves about how our food is planted, grown, cared for, harvested, transported, and stored allowing us to make conscious knowledgable choices. That is a lot of power we have!
