Hi there, I have a passion for Personal Development/Self Help, The Law of Attraction, Goal Setting, Meditation and The Secret Movie. I have made a decision to spend the rest of my life in the pursuit of knowledge in all of these areas.
I studied Child Psychology at University, and as a parent, grandparent and past teacher I have had considerable experience with raising children. I know that when they learn to plan their own future and how to achieve what they want, children have a skill which will last them a lifetime. Both of my children (young adults now) are spectacular ‘goal-setters’. I have now created an E-Book set for children about goal setting (Due for release July 2008). ‘Go For Your Goals’ is a simple and fun way for children to learn the process of setting goals and achieving them. Comprising a Parent’s Guide and two age specific Kids Workbooks, it is a great tool to empower children.
The 1979 Harvard Business School story sends a powerful message to us about the value of active goal setting. After 10 years the 13 percent of the class who had goals were earning, on average, twice as much as the 84 percent who had no goals at all, and the three percent who had clear, written goals? They were earning, on average, ten times as much as the other 97 percent put together. Teach your children how to set goals!
