  1. You heard it right. SEX actually can help you sleep, according to Dr. Laura Berman.
  2. Healthy grains throughout the day encourage deep sleep (millet, oats, brown rice, amaranth, quinoa).
  3. Acupuncture can help, in serious cases.
  4. According to Paul Pitchford, stresses such as sexual excess, infection, overwork, alcohol, tobacco, drug use, excessive salt/spices, worry, and radiation for electromagnetic sources all contribute to depleted melatonin (the hormone that can help us go into deep sleep.
  5. Put a few drops of lavender essential oil on your pillow case. Vanilla and jasmine are known to work great too.
  6. Sleep well!
