Someone once challenged me with “How do you climb a
mountain?” to which I replied, daunted “I don't know”...
“Step by step” he said.

Of course, it is nice to have a dream or a goal. And it is
even nicer to have a step of it within easy reach. So, take your goal that you wish to be motivated for, and break it down into steps. Then choose the step that you can realistically action almost immediately. It will be so easy that you can do it.

Let's say Jon's goal is to run a marathon in about a year.
First he'd need to go running say 3 times this week. Let us say today is Monday. Jon can set himself the goal of running
tomorrow morning at 6 AM, Thursday at 6 AM and Saturday
at 4 PM. So Jon only needs to plan today for running tomorrow at 6 AM. Easy peasy!

Jon can start by using a simple EFT affirmation to tap on all his favorite EFT points. A good one to use is “I enjoy running at 6 AM”.

Visualization also plays a part. So, Jon can visualize running at 6 AM tomorrow.

To visualize running at 6 AM tomorrow, Jon can visualize the
Following as he taps on all his EFT points:
His bedside clock showing 5:45 AM as his eyes open;
Jumping out of bed smiling at just after 5:45;
Brushing his teeth as dawn is breaking outside;
Getting his running shorts and T-shirt on;
Getting his socks and running shoes on;
Grabbing his keys;
Running out the door as his watch shows 6 AM;
Running and smiling as he runs.

So, see yourself doing your next step in your goal. If at first images do not come to you, that is just fine. This is atappable issue!

Allow each image to form. Maybe first it is black-and-white
or fuzzy, and then it starts to form better shape, then it fills
out with color. If you do EFT, tap as you visualize. Or you can tap for “Even though I only see a fuzzy picture…” and keep tapping through the images until it is clear and in color.

Can't visualize? If you like drawing, simply draw the
scenarios. Then look at the drawing and just tap on all the EFT points as you look at it. Whatever works for you is great!
