This is one of the hardest things that we have to cope with in life—Relationships. Yes indeed, and it really does matter. If you think that it doesn’t, then think again. Everything that we do in life literally, has an impact on relationships. It can be a relationship with your parents, your spouse, your children, your friends, your cousins and relatives or even your business. It all has to do with relationships.

How well you nurture your relationships will indeed proof how well you do in life. The majority of people take this for granted. Let me give you an example: Let’ say that you are single. You meet someone along the line and the two of you begin to like one another and things begin to spice up and your adrenaline level rises and you have the feeling of ‘competing’ to win the one you want. Let it be day or night or if anyone comes in the way, you are sure to do your level best to get his or her attention again.

Then assuming that things go well and the two of you decide to tie the knot. Guess what happens then? The majority of couples will lose their drive and passion in their relationships after the ‘courting season’ ends. The slowly begin to take things for granted and as this process goes along, it builds up even more and more and sooner or later you will see families falling apart. The same applies to your business as well. You should consistently keep up the fire and passion ignited in your relationships and never let it burn out.

The late Helen Walton was the wife of the late Sam Walton, the founder of Wal-Mart, was someone extra-ordinary at this. She was able to balance her relationship with her husband by supporting him in life and business. She gave Sam immense support and managed to bring up four beautiful children in their life. Their success can never be matched, as they were not only able to build a family with strong relationship bond between one another, a successful business relationship between people and a legacy that will live on forever.
