An Act of Love

Most people believe that money gets the world go round.
So did I… until my life changed in a way that things stopped being the way they used to be and started to change in ways that, at the time seemed harsh, difficult… even unfair…

… and then I decided to look for the gift in my present time.

It was one day that I was happily reading my metaphysical books that I so much love and, as usual, taking in new concepts… when I came to a thought that said something along the line of: “In the seed of the intention is wrapped the result of an action”.

• I pondered about it and looked more deeply into the seed of the intention of money transactions. I realised that:
• A huge corporation will retrench many employees when times go bad as it looks only at the bottom line profit.
A corporation like this will not reduce profits throughout the whole organisation when times are hard in order to be able to keep all employees. But if a corporation struggled through during such tough times while brainstorming solutions, it could hold on to the company’s human capital and gain knowledge of how to survive in future market changing cycles. Just like a family does: a family doesn’t get rid of mouths to feed when times are tough. A family takes responsibility for all of its members all the time. • A transaction will take place in a way one person or corporation can profit as much as possible from another, even if this means that such transaction has hidden agendas and costs, resulting in unfair terms or even loss for the weaker party.
• Someone will put an insane amount of profit on an item or service, just because they can.

You get the gist. You have been there, on one side or the other, and you may have many such examples of your own.

As I looked further into the idea of money makes the world go round I realized the untruth of such statement, because in the intention of a money transaction based on greed or fear, there is the seed of a final destruction, either of someone’s happiness, or integrity, or love for another, or care. All in the name of survival. Obviously, this is a fear based approach to wealth and its benefits are short lived and short-sighted.

Instead, I came to the conclusion that what does make the world go round is love, because if you look deeply into any transaction or action made on the basis of love, the results are always beneficial and long-lasting for all involved. When the cycle is complete and the seed of intention returns back to the sender, it somehow will have created expansion, growth and fulfilment at some level, and this will be sustainable, not short-lived. All in all, actions based on love are long-lasting, far-reaching and always beneficial.

This book is like that seed of intention: an act of love.

An act of love based on a great deal of personal work that I have undertaken over many years and which has resulted in a deep transformation of whom I have become.
Yes, I had to reach deeply inside my pool of dormant-potential, which you also have, and in the process I released an enormous amount of energy that was locked deep down. We trap energy when we try to hold on to untrue beliefs related of lack of self-worth, victimhood, powerlessness and a low self-esteem caused by not knowing or perceiving that there is another life for us if we search for it and I call it our highest potential.
But I am sure you already know this. Ask yourself: have you ever achieved anything in your life which was worth going for and which didn’t take some kind of fight, of effort?

Of course not! Anything worth-while having always takes an effort!

Because making an effort means going against the inertia of inaction.
Making an effort has, within its seed, the result of growth. And although this can sometimes be experienced as painful, draining and even hopeless (I am sure you have been there; so have I) in the end, it is always exhilarating and expansive when you do get it.

And so this is my message today: I hope I have put a seed somewhere in your receptive and open heart so that you understand that developing your public speaking skills is an effort worth doing, a deeply transformational experience which will bring forth amazing results, the sweetest fruit of manifesting more of your potential.

And this will happen just when the time is right.
