EEA Family Visa UK permits relatives of the European Economic Area (EEA) and Swiss nationals to join their family in the United Kingdom. An EEA Family Permit UK is a type of 'entry clearance' to the UK (like a visa) for the nationals of nations outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who are relatives of EEA nationals.
Following are the given family members of Swiss nationals or EEA who have the residence right :-
1. Husband, spouse or civil partner of the EEA or Swiss nationals;
2. Children or grandkids of the EEA or Swiss nationals or their accomplice, who are under 21 years old and are reliant on of the EEA or Swiss nationals;
3. Parents or grandparents of the EEA or Swiss nationals or their accomplice, who are subject to of the Swiss nationals or EEA;
4. Unmarried accomplice of an EEA or Swiss nationals provided they have living respectively for two (2) years.
5. If Swiss nationals or EEA is a student, just their better half, spouse, or common accomplice and dependent kids have a privilege of living arrangement; and
6. Extended relatives, for example, siblings, sisters and cousins on the off chance that they are subject to EEA or Swiss nationals.
The candidates who are successful will be provided a visa for 6 months (from overseas) and for 5 years (if applying from UK). Even those who are given EEA family permit UK for six months can also get it extended within UK which is provided for the five years.
