Consume food with low sugar levels and highly refined carbohydrates

It is best to minimize the consumption of sweets, carbonated soft drinks, artificial fruit juices and bread made with wheat flour. It is best to have whole fresh fruits, fruit juices without any preservatives and brown bread to avoid excess sugar and carbohydrates. You can prepare these fruit juices at the comfort of your home. You just need to invest on a blender and this would provide you with the ability to start the day with a fresh fruit juice. You don’t have to spend a fortune to buy a home blender and the health benefits delivered by it are totally worth when compared to the amount you spend.

Consume food that contains least amount of unhealthy fats

Unhealthy fats could be in two different forms. They are trans fats and saturated fats. These are the main causes which lead to the risk of increasing your LDL cholesterol and elevated LD cholesterol. This could sometimes lead to a heart attack as well. Foods which contains high amounts of trans fats are made with partially hydrogenated oils such as margarine or yeast. Good examples of food which contains trans fats are baked food, fried food, pizza and other highly processed foods. Pizza, cheese, red meat and full fat dairy products contain saturated fats which is not harmful as trans fats. Coconut oil is a highly saturated liquid but it might as well increase the level of good cholesterol. So it is best to have an average usage of coconut oil to your food.

Try to minimize consuming processed foods

Processed foods give a bad blend of all the nutrients. So it is best to avoid or minimize consuming processed foods. We could consume a variety of whole foods instead of eating processed foods. Whole foods have balanced blend of healthy fats, proteins and carbohydrates. Consuming freshly grown fruits and vegetables could be beneficial for your health because it contains high amounts of vitamins and minerals. Also do not forget to add a dose of brown bread, brown rice, pasta to your meals. Try consuming low fat dairy products like skim milk and reduced fat cheese. These will reduce our fat input while providing healthy amounts of calcium.

Whenever you get the opportunity try to consume organic foods. They do not contain chemicals most of the time. Besides the nutritional values they are eco-friendly too.

Do not forget to start and finish your workout with stretching

A minimum of 3 minute stretching before working out could really be useful and effective. It will relax your muscles after you finish your workout session. Calf stretch is a good point to start with. Do it the way you are instructed and make sure you do it at least for 30 seconds. And keep your body relaxed when you are doing stretch warm ups. And make sure you don’t take long breaks while working out, because it could drop your rhythm and break your streak.
