To just be means that you appreciate the moment for what it is. What does it mean to just be? It means to surrender. You have to learn how to just let go and surrender the moment for whatever it is meant to be. We are so busy doing things that it is hard to surrender. When you surrender you acknowledge that you cannot control everything.
By surrendering you are acknowledging your smallness. There is this great big world with billions of people, other animals, and other planets. You realize that you are but a speck on this great thing we call earth.
We choose who we believe in and we also have a choice not to believe. I know my beliefs and I am comfortable with my faith in God. So I know when I surrender, I acknowledge that all things are not in my hands. This blog is not about our religious beliefs, but about the belief that you do not have to conform to everything you see and hear, you can be comfortable in your moments and just be.
To be means there is no outside influence, there is no judgement, there is only love and compassion. It is your life, your lesson, someone else’s’ life, someone else’s lesson. Everyone has to evolve in their own time and space. Life is pretty simple; we just seem to complicate it from time to time.
To live in love and light; you have to practice it and live by it until you perfect it, for some this could mean practicing for all of their life. By being in the moment and feeling gratitude for that moment, you can bring it to the next moment, and so on.
To just be, you are immune to the complications of others. In other words, other people’s drama just bounces off of you, as well as others judgement of you. You also realize that time is a fraction of a second and the next second will come and it won’t be the same. So you don’t worry, you don’t stress, you are just happy in the moment because you cannot get that moment back, and stressing and worrying, and getting caught up in drama will do nothing but rob you of that moment. This is what we mean when we say, “life is too short.” So, don’t rob yourself of your precious moments. Learn to just be and live your life and don’t sweat the small stuff, and don’t worry if you don’t fit in, or if you don’t have this or that, those are just things. Remember, be comfortable with who you are and be strong enough to just be.
