We live our life. But for what? That we do not know.
We keep earning money all life. For what? That too we do not know.
We want to be successful in life. For what reason? We really do not know.

We all are in search of happiness. But what kind of happiness are we looking for? Don’t know.
We blindly keep running in the rat race and get dragged by the flow that people around us pull us in, unaware of what our ultimate goal of life is, what destination we want to reach actually.

It is like a man running an engine all day long, but without any meaningful purpose behind it. He does not use the energy of the engine and it all goes waste. Our situation too is quite similar to this analogy given, when we are living our life without a meaningful goal in mind.

So come, let us understand, “What is the ultimate goal of the human life?” and choose not to waste our precious human life anymore.
“How can I really be free from all miseries? – Live this life to know just this!”
-Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan

This gives us two types of goals that we need to strive to accomplish:
1.The immediate goal - to live life in a manner that no living being ever gets hurt by us. This should be our first aim in life as the law of karma is pretty straightforward - When you give happiness, you get happiness. And if you give suffering to others, you get suffering in return.

So in order to set ourselves free from miseries, from today, we shall maintain a constant inner intent that, “May no living being ever get hurt by my thoughts, words or actions.”

In case, we end up hurting someone, be it only in our thoughts, we shall immediately seek forgiveness from God for the wrong deed. When you do this, you’ll automatically experience happiness within and you will feel your human life has been successful for having earned the wealth of love in the hearts of people. When you begin to care for other person’s pain and miseries, you begin to gain freedom from your own miseries.

2.The ultimate goal of human life – It is liberation, by acquiring Self-Realization!!
Just think about it! How can we experience happiness when we do not know our very own Self? Of what meaning is success and of what value is money, when we do not even know our real identity? Hence, making money or achieving success cannot be our primary goals in life.

Each one’s experience suggests that no matter how much money we may have earned or how successful we may have become in life, we cannot escape from miseries. There are many occasions when we experience moments of happiness in our life; but at the end of it all, suffering does come, isn’t it? It is inevitable, indeed.

The reason why we are trapped in misery is because we have not known our true identity; we have not known the answer to "Who Am I?"
Our life is meant for searching a path whereby we are able to attain freedom from all miseries forever.
Liberation from misery can be attained by acquiring Self-Realization. Through Akram Vignan, the stepless path to Self-Realization, with the grace of Gnani, the Enlightened One, it becomes possible to attain the experiential knowledge of Self within just 2 hours of time!!!

After this, we clearly understand that “I am Pure Soul” and we begin to partially experience the Soul. Soul is an abode of eternal bliss and therefore no misery or suffering can ever touch it. Such Soul is our real Self!!!

Self-Realization is possible only in human life-form. This is the reason why even celestial beings long to be born as human-beings, and they want to meet Gnani and seek the ultimate liberation from Him.

To conclude:
Meeting Gnani (One who has fully realized the Self and is able to impart Self-Realization to others); attaining Self Realization from Him, and remaining in His company progress towards the Absolute experience of the Soul, should be our topmost priority in life.

And until then, we can surely begin to pursue our goal of maintaining a pure inner intent to not hurt any living being, in the slightest, through our mind, speech or body.

Author's Bio:

Ambalal M. Patel was a civil contractor by profession. In June 1958, spontaneous Self-Realization occurred within Ambalal M. Patel. From this point on, Ambalal became a Gnani Purush, and the Lord that manifest within him became known as Dada Bhagwan. A Gnani Purush is One who has realized the Self and is able help others do the same. Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan used to go from town to town and country-to-country to give satsang (spiritual discourse) and impart the knowledge of the Self, as well as knowledge of harmonious worldly interactions to everyone who came to meet him. This spiritual science, known as Akram Vignan, is the step-less path to Self-realization
