Master Darwin Leon John is a Highly qualified Wu Gong Teacher certified by the Ministry of Education, People’s Republic of China.Shifu De John,coaches the Trinidad and Tobago National WuGong team that has been successfully competing for the past 18 years at the World Martial Arts Championships,the US Open,Battle of Atlanta and the Wong Fei Hung All Kung Championship etc... In 2007 Master De John was inducted into the world officials Martial Arts Hall of Fame,in Atlanta U.S.A.
Master De John attained the reputation for producing some of the finest students in the Martial Arts in Trinidad and Tobago,the Caribbean and the U.S.A.His scientific high voltage fighting method, extraordinary skills and dynamic teaching ability makes him one of the most elite Wu Gong teachers in the world today.
He holds a Masters Diploma in Chinese Wu Gong; Herbal medicine, Bone Setting, Therapeutic Massage and C’han Buddhism. In addition he holds a Masters diploma in the Dragon Wind System, U.S.A. and is an Ordained Disciple of the Shaolin Temple China. He took his Full vows in C'han Buddhism and Shaolin Wu Gong under the Venerable Abbot Shi Yan Chang and was authenticated with the dharma name Shi Heng Xin.
Furthermore, Master De John is a Soldier in the Trinidad & Tobago Army Reserve, he graduated from the Army's most prestigious Physical Training Instructors course with a (P.T.I.) Diploma and is highly respected as a top hand to hand combat Drill instructor for his unit.
He was employed as a Personal Trainer and Kick Boxing Instructor for two of the largest health clubs in America: Bally’s Total Fitness and Gold's Gym, both located in U.S.A.
