Rebecca Rengo-Kocher is the author of Beyond Chronic Pain: A get-well guidebook to soothe the body, mind and spirit. Rebecca is president of the Missouri Pain Initiative and a member of the American Pain Society. She has master’s degrees in social work and public administration and is on adjunct faculty at St. Louis University, Washington University and the University of Missouri — St. Louis Schools of Social Work. Rebecca was also an adjunct assistant professor in the psychiatry department at St. Louis University and on full-time faculty in the School of Medicine at Washington University. Rebecca has received media training from The Lance Armstrong Foundation as part of their effort to educate the public and medical professionals on chronic pain and pain management issues. Rebecca also offers seminars, teleconferences and coaching using the concepts from her book, Beyond Chronic Pain.
