In part one, I shared information about ‘why’ aloe vera is considered a miracle food. In addition, I shared with you the difference betwee ACTIValoe and aloe. The difference is in the name, itself. ACTIValoe simple means, “active aloe.” It’s the way the aloe is processed. It’s processed in a way where it’s not losing its biological significance.
A great supplement one needs to have healthy skin and nails is vitami D. Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that is made on our skin upon sun exposure. It provides many biological effects on our body including promoting bone health, modulating inflammation, and hair health. Research has revealed that vitami D may help in prevention of autoimmune disease by regulating gut bacteria.
When growing up, I thought my curly-hair-self was all I needed to conquer the world, as one suffering from glaucoma. I entered a number of beauty pageants and won several, such as Miss Norfolk Teen USA. But it wasn't until I served (twice) as a Youth Missionary in India working in an Aids Clinic for Children and in a Leprosy Colony that I learned more about life. These individuals enjoyed watching the sun rise in the morning and always found something to be thankful for. I will treasure their memories forever in my heart!
I know for a fact that I don’t feel good when I have a bladder infection. My grandmother always told my mother to drink plenty of cranberry juice to alleviate or to eliminate a bladder infection. According to my mother, her bladder infection would go away after consuming a pint of the stuff! The first bladder infection she had was after getting her first flu shot in her early twenties. Since that time, she had one more shot and the same thing occurred. So, for her no more flu vaccines, unless she wants to deal with a urinary tract infection.
One of the most popular techniques for producing the relaxation response is progressive relaxation. The technique is based on a very simple procedure of comparing tension with relaxation. Many people are not aware of the sensation of relaxation. As mentioned, some used (vitalized) hemp oil, such as my uncle, for anxiety issues and with great success. HEMP, is widely known for many benefits, besides stress. https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=1349117&u=2289972&m=87312&urllink=&afftrack=rnr
In these series of articles about trace minerals, my goal has been to share what I have discovered about the importance of trace minerals and how necessary they are in one’s diet. In this article, I will discuss the following minerals along with what they contribute to a healthy diet: sulfate, potassium, sodium and bromine. Sulfate is known for helping to fight against blemishes and acne. Potassium keeps the body functioning and without it we die. Sodium helps to form blood plasma, while bromine helps to aid sleep and to eliminate insomnia.
Only recently has the role of trace elements been appreciated. Trace minerals do not exist by themselves but in relationship to one another. Too much of one trace mineral can lead to imbalances in others resulting in disease, rather than the absence of disease. Mineral deficiencies and imbalances are known to affect and be involved in disorders of the cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal, muscular, skeletal, neurological, immune and endocrine systems.
Experiencing arthritis pain is not fun. So, one can’t feel pretty, when arthritis flares up. If you don’t want to take aspirin or another type of pain killer, then try turmeric. The same spice that given curry its distinctive flavor makes an excellent pain reliever, in part because it breaks down bits of pain-causing protein that circulate in damaged tissue. One can mix ½ teaspoon of turmeric with enough water to make a paste and apply it to the painful spots.
My name is Kelley and I live with the misunderstood disability, “photophobia,” and recently wrote a book about it, “My Curly Hair Self: Living with a Visual Processing Disorder,” and by having this disability I’ve endured stress-related ailments, such as irritable bowel syndrome, premenstrual tension syndrome, migraines, and a poor immune system. I lived with these problems throughout my childhood and until recently, did not know these ailments were stress-related.
It’s important to know that salt is used as a breath sweetener, in reducing fatigue, as an exfoliant, relieving insect bites, and poison ivy. But, before I share this information, I believe that when one is purchasing salt, one should consider buying unrefined salt. Unrefined salt has all 84 minerals and minerals that come from the sea. So, for me, I purchase a bag of this salt from iherb.com. https://www.iherb.com/pr/Mate-Factor-Sal-do-Mar-Unrefined-Sea-Salt-16-oz-454-g/40085rn(Use this coupon code, BER298, to save money during checkout)
I’m sure that many people have heard that eating salt will increase one’s risk of having high blood pressure, and therefore, increase one’s risk for heart attack and stroke. One should eat a low salt diet as much as possible for heart disease prevention. WOW! Imagine, how easy to lie like that and with no consequences!
In our yard there were plenty of weeds that grew without any help at all. Of course, we never thought about eating them, until we started the Keto diet. On the Keto diet, one must have plenty of fresh greens. So, one weed we began to add to our green salads was dandelions. The dandelion plant used to be considered and still is by many, an herb. Dandelion greens are high in iron, calcium, vitamins A, C, K, and B2, along with other vitamins and minerals. The dandelion had been used for medicine.
Of course, I never thought I’d run into Tom again, several months later, at a sports event. At that time, I was with a girlfriend when Tom came over, smiling. He was charming and ask how I was doing. Tom had taken a position as a manager-in-training for a fast food restaurant. He never mentioned anything about having a girlfriend, especially one that was pregnant with his child. Tom had kept that from me and I probably would never have known if he hadn’t parked near my car. I guess he felt my presence, since he looked in my direction before putting the key into the car door.
Okay, I’m having a lot of fun in getting ready for the summer. So, I did another snapchat video and here it is: https://www.facebook.com/kelley.oberne/videos/10156307208816918rnr
Obviously, when it comes to water, make sure it’s okay to drink. So, how does one determine if water is contaminated or not? Well, there are two ways water can get contaminated: First, when one leaves the water in an open container at room temperature for an extended period of time. This provides a breeding ground for bacteria, algae, and mosquitoes. The second way water gets contaminated is when the container in which one stores water starts to leach chemicals.
There are several botanical medicines supporting adrenal function. The most notable are Chinese ginseng, Siberian ginseng, rhodiola, and ashwagandha. As mentioned in the last article, some used (vitalized) hemp oil, such as my uncle, for anxiety issues and with great success. HEMP, is widely known for many benefits, besides stress. https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=1349117&u=2289972&m=87312&urllink=&afftrack=r
Knowing more about trace minerals and where they are abundant in nature can truly help one in purchasing some of the Fountain of Youth. Of course, no one is going to age backwards, like in the show, “Mork and Mindy,” but one can certainly feel younger, and therefore, enjoy life a whole lot more!
There is nothing like an ice cold, glass of water, especially when one is hot and thirsty. Nothing can beat it when it comes to quenching one’s thirst! So, when it comes to water, how much does one need to drink every day? Well, this is important, since one’s body contains more water than anything else; about 60 percent of one’s total body weight.
It’s almost summer and I’m getting ready. I went on a small, shopping spree. Check it out: https://www.facebook.com/kelley.oberne/videos/10156305914711918/ So, when it comes to caring about my skin, many times I spend more energy caring for my face and little time is given to the rest of my body. Well, I’ve come to realize that just because the skin on my body is more resilient to the elements than on my delicate facial skin, my whole body needs nourishment, just like everyone else!
When my mother was young, she would always hear the expression, “an apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Well, it could be considered ‘true,’ by some health experts, and that’s because scientists have recently learned that apples contain a host of nutrients and phytochemicals that could very well leave doctors with a little more time on their hands.
How many of us have picked a four-leaf clover, since it was always known for bringing “good luck?” Well, I admit that I have. I was the kind of kid that believed in magic, such as the tooth fairy and Santa Claus. Clover is an important food for honeybees and bumblebees, and clover leaves and flowers can be used to add variety to human meals as well. Small amounts of raw clover leaves can be chopped into salads, or can be sautéed and added to dishes for a little more green. As for the flowers, whether red or white, can be eaten raw or cooked, or dried for tea.
Well, one can't feel pretty or look pretty is one's eyes are puffy and his/her teeth are yellow. Read this article to learn how salt can help eye puffiness and yellow teeth along with other salt remedies. For starters, I depend on a salt solution to clean my sinuses before administering an allergy spray. It’s much more effective and I don’t need to use the whole bottle of the allergy spray. The saline solution brand I use and recommend is in the link below: https://www.iherb.com/pr/Now-Foods-Solutions-Activated-Nasal-Mist-2-fl-oz-59-ml/7283rnr
Ace had great success in eliminating his signs of having autism, by consuming spirulina on a daily basis. Mom was tired of mixing the powdered substance and began to rely on spirulina in a capsule form. She still purchased the NOW Foods brand from iherb.com (coupon code 298). For more than ten years, Mom and Ace have supplemented their diet by taking this form of spirulina. I take it, too, but sometimes I forget to take it every single day. Since Mom saw the difference a natural food source can provide, she strongly believes that the haircare products from Monat are going to work.
What can one do if inflammation is a beauty killer? Know what foods one should and should not eat? There are many commonly eaten foods that cause inflammation, such as the following: • Trans-fats – Food label will say “partially hydrogenated”. Common in baked goods, non-dairy creamers. Also the ingredient in margarine. • French Fries and other fried foods • Fast foods • Soda pop and other sugar-filled drinks • Baked goods and pastriesr Also, besides food, other certain life choices can cause inflammation: • Tobacco use • Physical inactivityr
As I mentioned in part one, I didn’t know a thing about getting rid of cellulite and, as such, I thought I could get rid of my cellulose if I lost weight. Swimming in a pool, going for walks and changing my diet helped some. But, not as much as I would like. So, I joined a local gym. The members at this gym were highly-trained in what I consider extreme-exercise, like doing push-ups on a bike.
True beauty is really inner beauty. People who are healthy have a beautiful glow about themselves and it’s showcased by the way they interact with others. An unhealthy individual is someone who has a difficult time enjoying life, itself; and what I mean by “unhealthy” includes not being mentally fit. In order to secure the title of “nature’s most perfectly balanced oil,” the oil must contain a perfect balance of a 3 to 1 ratio of Omega 6 (linoleic/LA) to Omega 3 (alpha-linolenic/LNA) essential fatty acids, which is the optimum requirement for long-term healthy human nutrition.
I can’t explain how important trace minerals are in maintaining one’s overall health. It has become more and more difficult to obtain the correct amounts of trace minerals in one’s diet, but one must find a way to get them. In this article, I will discuss the following minerals along with what they contribute to in a healthy diet: chloride and magnesium. Chloride is known for helping to maintain the proper electrolyte balance, while magnesium helps with cell function. (Check out Dr. Berg’s video about his electrolyte drinking containing trace minerals:r
Years ago, many people drank the water at Lourdes and were cured of their affliction. So, out of curiosity, what’s in this water and can it help prevent or cure the C-Virus. After researching the 72 trace minerals available in only a few products, I discovered that the trace mineral, Germanium, is found in this water.
Have you ever heard of a weed that’s good for a snakebite, such as the bite from a rattlesnake? Well, this one is widely known for growing between the cracks of a sidewalk and, of course, in one’s yard. This weed has the same name as a fruit and is spelled the same way. This amazing medicinal plant or weed is called, “plantain.” Plantain is a great edible plant for one’s table. The young leaves of a plantain can be eaten raw, steamed, boiled, or sautéed, and while the older leaves can be tough, they can also be cooked and eaten as well.
The way we handle stress is critical, since our human body’s response to stress leads to various diseases. According to Dr. Murray and Dr. PIzzo o, authors of various health books, stress if not treated with some form of relaxation can cause serious damage. Some used (vitalized) hemp oil, such as my uncle, for anxiety issues and with great success. HEMP, is widely known for many benefits, besides stress. https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=1349117&u=2289972&m=87312&urllink=&afftrack=rnr
I thought I’d never speak favorably about this trace mineral, especially since it has been known of being toxic. This trace mineral, Mercury, certainly has a history. A composite of it was used in the MMR and had been noted to cause possible neurological disorders. By the way, it is no longer being used. However, it does manage to show up in trace minerals at a micro amount; otherwise, it certainly wouldn’t be listed as being one of the more than 70 minerals we need for optimal health.r
I can’t explain how important trace minerals are in maintaining one’s overall health. It has become more and more difficult to obtain the various amounts of 72 trace minerals needed in one’s diet. Therefore, one must find a way to obtain them and the product, Coral CellEnergy H2, is the one product I have discovered fulfills this essential need. Since there are so many trace minerals I need to acknowledge, I must address them in a series of articles. In this article, magnesium and chloride are recognized.
Life would certainly be much happier for everyone if we could simply turn back the hands of time. Imagine turning 80 and then taking that knowledge to relive one’s life again starting at the age of 18. Of course, if that were possible, the world we live in just might get a lot brighter!

Fluoride is known for helping to strengthen bones and teeth. Silicon is not only known as the beauty mineral, but it also provides numerous health benefits. Nitrogen is present in all living things, as well as making up part of the earth’s air.
Yes, indeed, pure water is our lifeline. We all need hydration and as I mentioned in part one, nothing is better than ice cold water on a hot day. I can still remember my grandmother when she looked forward to a refreshing glass of water with lots of ice. She claimed it was better than any soda or other refreshing drink, especially when one is truly thirsty!

As stated in part five, stress can certainly cause illness, so it’s important to know how to get one’s body to relax. A relaxation response can be achieved through a variety of techniques. It doesn’t matter which technique one chooses, because all have the same physiological effect---a state of deep relaxation. Did you know that inflammation can cause premature aging? When one ages, true beauty inside and out is hindered, especially when it is caused by what we eat. The foods we eat play an a major part in either preventing or creating inflammation in the body. Consuming a diet high in sugar, saturated fats, and simple carbohydrates will lead to more pain and disease while a diet high in foods that are anti-inflammatory will do the opposite. Did you know that a medical-diagnoses ending in “itis,” is latin for inflammation? The following are some of these conditions:r
Besides Vitamin D, as mention in part three, Biotin and the mineral Zinc, are needed by our body to convert nutrients into energy. It is essential to one’s daily body function. Biotin has a vital role in maintaining strong and healthy nails and hair. Exactly how biotin works is unclear. It’s been found to strengthen keratin, the building blocks of our skin, hair, and nails. Clinical studies have shown that biotin supplements can improve hair growth, and make brittle nails stronger.

Why is it that after eating turkey, I feel happy, contented, and I always get a good night sleep? Research has indicated that turkey does not make you sleepier than eating other meat; since turkey contains less tryptophan than other meats. Included in some of these statements, it is believed that eating a heavy meal, such as at Thanksgiving (turkey day) or Christmas (turkey day for some) is what causes sleepiness. I have to disagree! I could eat a turkey sandwich and feel the same way. Yet, when I eat other meat, I don’t have that feeling of being contented and relaxed.

It’s easy to become quite confused when it comes to trying to understand ‘why’ certain trace minerals, some known as toxic are even listed. But as I have stated in my earlier articles, the more than 70 trace minerals tend to work together and many cannot be taken as an individual supplement such as Beryllium. ****Read this review about an amazing product that my mom wrote conce ing my brother, who was very ill in March, 2020. https://iherb.co/EraFvp2a (If interested in this product, please use coupon code, BER298, to save money during checkout.)
Stressed Out---A Foot Massage Just Might Help! I love putting my feet in a foot massage bath. Now, it doesn’t replace the human touch, but it’s quick and easy to set up. However, putting one’s feet in a massage tub doesn’t work if one’s wants only a foot rub and plans to use some type of oil on one’s feet.
